writing manually is thinking.
I read all types of blogs, articles and other content from devtools companies I somehow admire.
all the time. every day.
some time ago one of my friends who follow me on Instagram (55 followers, I treat as my life photo diary that only my closest friends can access) said:
"wow you do amazing photos"
i like my photos too. i have a pretty old camera. sony a6000 (but with more premium lens). I think I would never be able to take good photos if I wasn't browsing great photos from others and taking inspiration and capturing in my head what actually attracted me to their photos.
the same applies to content. you need to read a lot in order to then write manually in an effective way and capture somebody's attention.
why write manually, at least start to have the core manually? cause when you fix the blank page problem instantly with AI there's never gonna be a quality piece out of that, which people enjoy reading and keep recommending to each other.
you know what I also observed in devtools content writing?
it's very subjective but I think the content I enjoy and find others in my network enjoy reading the most, is the one that comes from:
1. ex-software engineers who have taste and at some point entered the developer-marketing path
2. developer marketers who also have taste and really use the products they market to devs
reading is writing. writing is thinking
