I'm so proud of my pixel 4a camera for being just shitty enough to perfectly censor the branding but not the ad

has the frontier regressed on the touring test? I recall a couple years ago there was a sense that we had blown past the turing test, next stop: superpersuasion. and now frontier models are incredibly more capable and... just as easy to clock? easier? who has data on this?

this was vague and people are interpreting it all sorts of different ways. I understand why most people aren't able to personally offload most of their lives to current agent harnesses. allow me to pin down my incorrect expectation...
I do not understand is why AI hasn't had more significant social or economic effects. 40% of my life is the same as pre-AI. >80% for a lot of people. wtf is going on? we invented widely accessible AGI. should have hit like a wildfire on an uninhabited continent without lightening

or maybe there's self-stabilizing phenomena I don't understand? but sometimes major and rapid cascading economic disruptions do happen, often for minor reasons!

I think it can be cowardly to refuse to have sex with someone you would otherwise want to have sex with specifically because they are drunk, possibly even immoral
it's important to be able to separate good behavior, morality, and law if a drunk person offers to have sex with you, accepting would be perfectly legal, morally questionable, and ungentlemanly

"can be" because it really depends on your good-faith belief and certainty about if it would be good or bad for them, and other factors. it is complicated, and can be as goblinodds says. but I reject a safetyist view. under that model, nobody should ever have sex with anyone.

having sex with someone while they're drunk is taking on some degree of responsibility for the encounter, and letting them take on less than they normally would. this can be preferable to your counterparty! (imo same logic as why many women prefer to keep their consent implicit)
