K2 or you're not even trying. (Header image taken by my high altidude balloon)

I sent an AI computer to the edge of space! HAAID-1 was the first-of-its-kind high-altitude balloon mission. It reached an altitude of ~19 km and ran a 360M-parameter LLM on a Raspberry Pi at -68°C.

WTF are these people on???? Making random stories up.

Rule #1: Never share private chats with someone on a public platform. They're private for a reason.
It’s hard to go from in love to let go in a week with no warning, but that’s just how it is sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️ I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness. Given the tumultuous nature of his early life, his often tortured soul, and how hard he fights for humanity I wanted him to feel the deepest and most stable form of love this world can provide. My heart is full knowing I got to do that, and I hope it leaves a lasting good effect. We were always his safe space. A place where all of us were overjoyed to see him and one that was always full of happiness and love, not war, in contrast to his otherwise militant existence (a needed break from the battlefield where he could recharge his heart and soul before heading back out) I loved being that counterbalancing place of safety, sense of calm, and love — and delighted in bringing a smile back to his face when he was down. I will miss him dearly. I’ve loved him more than life itself and he’s taught me 100 lifetimes of knowledge and made my cup overflow with life meaning, so there is a lot of loss, but luckily we created four beautiful little loves of my life ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am so beyond grateful for our children and they make every single day the best day of my life! I do hope and pray he and I can be great friends and coparents. I’m hurting, but care deeply about E and will always be cheering for his happiness. God speed, Elon, the world is lucky to have you.

Another fake ass AI slop story
A SpaceX engineer worked on the Starship heat shield for 4 years. He designed the hexagonal tile pattern that protects the vehicle during reentry. Each tile had to withstand temperatures above 1,400°C while maintaining structural integrity through vibration, thermal cycling, and aerodynamic forces that no ground test can fully simulate. He left SpaceX before Starship completed its first successful reentry. The tiles he designed protected the ship during the descent. His pattern held. His thermal modeling was correct. The vehicle survived reentry with an intact heat shield and landed in the ocean as planned. His contribution worked exactly as designed. He watched it on television. From his couch. In a different city. At a different company. His wife said he stood up when the vehicle hit the atmosphere. He walked to the screen. He pressed his hand against the television during the descent like he was touching the tiles through the glass. When the cameras showed the vehicle intact after reentry, he sat on the floor and didn't speak for several minutes. The next morning he sent a text to his former SpaceX colleague that was shared publicly with his permission: "The tiles held." Three words. The entire summary of 4 years of work. The nature of working on a multi decade project is that many of the people who build it will not be present when it works. They will have moved on, burned out, had children, taken other jobs. The vehicle carries their work but not their name. The heat shield doesn't know who designed it. It just holds. Somewhere there is a man who designed the thing that keeps Starship alive during the most violent phase of its journey and he watched it work from his living room because the timeline of the mission exceeded the timeline of his tenure. The tiles held. He wasn't there. Both facts are permanent.

"First Canadian launch company operating hardware in orbit." They had to add "launch company"; otherwise, they wouldn't have been able to claim the achievement lol 😂😂
Contact! 🚀🛰️🇨🇦 NordSpace officially becomes the first Canadian launch company operating hardware in orbit, retiring significant technical, operational and business risks for both our launch and spacecraft programs. Our mission to build Canada’s first end-to-end space missions company is now massively closer! Canadian payloads, launching on Canadian rockets, from Canadian soil. Terra Nova, NordSpace’s first satellite, has successfully gone through LEOP, is operating nominally, and preparing for commissioning. Through this mission we are learning the critical lessons that will feed directly into our launch and space systems program, including the upcoming launch of our own Taiga rocket from our Atlantic Spaceport Complex in Newfoundland and Labrador. In order to succeed with sovereign launch for Canada, NordSpace is building a company that is itself sovereign first, and this mission is a massive step in that direction for us. Over the next several weeks, our Missions Team will continue communicating with Terra Nova and preparing for full operations. Those operations will include running tests for predictive threat monitoring over Canadian soil related to wildfires and the Arctic. These lessons will feed into our soon-to-be-announced constellation projects and hosted payload missions that are purpose built to serve as strong demand generators and launch aboard our Tundra orbital rocket. NordSpace is a company focused on cadence and execution, and this mission is a glimpse into the sustainable space future for Canada we are building. Thank you to everyone who tuned into our livestream yesterday, and get excited for the many missions we have coming soon! Ad astra per aspera ✨ @NationalDefence @DRDC_RDDC @csa_asc @ISED_CA

The European Commission has rolled out an alternative to Microsoft Teams. But officials using it aren't impressed, with one describing the tool as “absolute shit.” vist.ly/5kje9

It's probably not wise to air your personal, private relationship drama on X. (Especially when your ex owns X.)

In the past 7 days there have been 6 orbital rocket launches. 5 of those were from SpaceX
