The Delhi Police is shielding its sexual predator Vivek Bhagat and is refusing to register an FIR. They have requested us for some time to “inquire” into the written complaint and videos. We are not tolerating this. The victim has called upon everyone to join her at 11 AM at the Police Station today. जिस देश में पार्षद चुनाव के बाद खरीद-फरोख्त और क्रॉस वोटिंग के आरोप लगते हैं, राज्यसभा चुनाव में वोटों के सौदे के आरोप सामने आते हैं, धनबल के आरोपों के बीच चुनी हुई सरकारें गिर जाती हैं और पूरी-पूरी पार्टियों पर कब्जे की राजनीति होती है, वहाँ राजस्थान में सरपंच प्रत्याशी को प्रचार के लिए सिर्फ 17 घंटे देकर धनबल रोकने का तर्क दिया जा रहा है! वाह रे व्यवस्था धनबल रोकना है तो धनबल पर लगाम लगाइए, प्रचार का समय क्यों काट रहे हैं गाँव का गरीब प्रत्याशी 17 घंटे में क्या करेगा दोपहर को चुनाव चिन्ह मिलेगा, फिर पर्चे-पोस्टर बनवाएगा, उसके बाद घर-घर जाएगा और रात तक पूरे गाँव को अपना चुनाव चिन्ह समझाएगा क्या यही लोकतंत्र है अगर बड़े चुनावों में हफ्तों-महीनों तक प्रचार हो सकता है, तो गाँव के मतदाता को अपने सरपंच का उम्मीदवार समझने के लिए समय क्यों नहीं मिलना चाहिए चुनाव में धनबल रोकने के नाम पर लोकतंत्र की आवाज को छोटा मत कीजिए। प्रचार का समय घटाने से धनबल नहीं रुकता, बल्कि मतदाता का अधिकार सीमित होता है। चुनाव आयोग को इस फैसले पर पुनर्विचार करना चाहिए। @SecRajasthan @ECISVEEP

जंतर-मंतर पर महिला पत्रकार से बदसलूकी के आरोप, राहुल गांधी ने अमित शाह से मांगा जवाब राहुल गांधी ने जंतर-मंतर पर एक महिला पत्रकार के साथ पुलिस अधिकारी द्वारा बदसलूकी का मुद्दा उठाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि सैकड़ों पत्रकार घंटों से सिर्फ FIR दर्ज करने की मांग को लेकर बैठे हैं, लेकिन पुलिस ने शिकायत दर्ज नहीं की। उन्होंने कहा कि यह पहली बार नहीं है और इससे पहले भी वीडियो सबूतों के जरिए पुलिस अधिकारियों पर महिलाओं के साथ बदसलूकी के आरोप सामने आए हैं। राहुल गांधी ने दिल्ली की महिलाओं और छात्राओं की सुरक्षा को लेकर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि जिस पुलिस पर महिलाओं की सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी है, उसी पर महिलाओं के साथ मारपीट के आरोप लग रहे हैं। उन्होंने दिल्ली पुलिस के गृह मंत्रालय के अधीन होने का जिक्र करते हुए केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह से जवाब मांगा।

In this byte, Bhardwaj argues that citizens should be able to peacefully express their disagreement with the SIR.
