Most of the CPI problem can be traced to the opening months of the Iran conflict. Those months had .7% to .9% per month index pops which totally skewed the overall total. It’s a trap of the MSM to keep yapping about the running 12 months. It’s much better talking point to discuss the latest month or even quarter rate and looking ahead. What’s done is done. Keep talking about that 12 month back rate also pushes folks to have higher long term inflation expectations and its counter productive.

OMG 🚨 UK TV Host GOES OFF on UK Defense Secretary for refusing to connect illegal mass migration with security risks in the UK. This might one of the best on air TV rants you will ever see. After 5 Muslims tried blowing up RAF Air Force base in London. The people in Europe are FED UP with immigration and their failed government that protects illegals over its citizens.

What does an illegal uneducated border crosser know about America? 1%? 2%? So Democrats are fighting with every minute of their political lives to force political acceptance to allow these folks in because they feel they can indoctrinate these folks with free social services. free housing, free healthcare, free medical care and free food. What a despicable strategy! Our worst enemy wouldn’t be able to do this and here’s half this country singing this funeral song gleefully. Doesn’t say good things about half this country’s intellect either. Wake up People.

Seems to be a K clan mantra to never be seen in public without a man. Showing the world and suckers all around how desirable they are when they really are mostly selfish money grubbing plastic filled trash. Shameless and has zero class. Sign of the times we live in.

Why is Fox turning on Trump and MAGA because owners - Murdoch was royally paid off when they sold Fox Films to Disney for 71 Billion! Original offer was $55B. And Murdoch kept Fox News. Since acquisition Disney has been eating it and reaching lows on their stocks and losing CEOs. Fox Films was not worth $71B. Hell, it may not even be worth $55Billion. Other than Bruce Willis movies, What does Fox have that is so valuable. Same thing in reversed happened recently when Paramount was sold to Ellison’s Skydance. Premium was to gain control of CNN and movie culture.

Here’s a question for everyone: would Americans be better with heavy AI regulations designed by the Democrats/Obama or let AI models run free and let marketplace dictate types of controls necessary? Models that are rogue will fail testing. What is needed is not regulations but test test run and define proper boundaries for each model.

With the South Korean President being so chummy with Xi of China, I wouldn’t take THEIR help if I was POTUS. All it will be is CCP will plant their spies to learn more of our tactics and capabilities.

Reporting differences From 1944 as compared to today Back then reported like today. Every newspaper will be 500+ pages daily, Or, now reported with standards used like back then There will just be a small 1/8 page of by lines every few days. So over reporting with a healthy dose of political exaggeration and blatant attempts to manipulate public opinion is clearly on over drive.

Germany’s far-left ‘Dream Team’ had opening statements that read, “Dear Comrades” and “F@ck Nazis”… If their ‘Revolution’ was televised 20 years ago…they’d be filming from a Mental Asylum…

honestly, i keep thinking about this result and it's just absurd. in the 2022 PISA, el salvador scored 343 in math, 365 in reading, and 373 in science near the bottom of PISA, close to guatemala and dominican republic now the country has developed a program for education modernization in a pilot group of public schools with 1:1 AI tutoring and personalized learning after the pilot had been running for BARELY OVER A YEAR, students got results comparable to germany and sweden. that's more than an entire standard deviation that is fucking insane we should be talking about absolutely nothing else if you actually care about poor children and equality of opportunity, the possibility of giving every child on earth an individualized tutor for a fraction of the cost of human 1:1 tutoring should be one of the most exciting developments in human history. "it's all in the environment tards" should be drooling at the news every government on earth should be running massive randomized trials of this right now, and if the effect survives, scaling it as fast as physically and humanly possible for every child on earth the funniest part is that while the supposed "fascists" are celebrating poor kids learning, the people supposedly obsessed with inequality are barely talking about it, and if anything are banning AI in schools revealed priorities are funny like that
“Results in reading, mathematics and science were above the national average and comparable to the average results in Germany and Sweden.” These are the results of our pilot program, which includes AI tutors and has been running in 171 public schools for just over a year. It was evaluated by PISA for Schools in June of this year. Since then, it has already expanded to more than 1,000 schools, and within 18 months, it will be in every public school in our country. In a few years, El Salvador will inspire the world. Security was just the beginning 🇸🇻

Why is history not interesting to young US students anymore? I believe it has to do with how fast the world is changing. There is no dispute that the world has evolved in a pace that has no historical parallels. As a result, anyone alive now will lean towards “it’s hard enough just to keep up with the monumental changes so what would history teach us?” Especially the young ones who finds modern innovations infinitely more interesting. This also has a second derivative effect of citizens growing up with almost de minimus knowledge of their own country’s culture and history, lack of respect for past heroes and struggles… society needs to really think about this problem. Just like only after 70 years since WW2 are folks realizing the Golden Globalization theory is actually very destructive to the participants, let’s hope it’s not too late to start this conversation so we don’t bring up future generations that are completely ignorant of the past.

Artemis astronauts getting Medals of Freedom seems a bit over hyped? So many astronauts have gone on shuttle missions, and some Apollo missions, these great guys looped around the moon and came home. I am beginning to think there’s a whole lot more to this “mission” than we think happened. Back side of the moon ? Rendevous with something? Ridiculously risky as Artemis was not ready and they went anyways with a heart knowing there’s a high probability it would fail? There has to be something big. Anyone knows?

It happens all the time at the language level, and occasionally as a political fight. Those are two different things. Everyday case: different languages, same water Most shared lakes, seas, gulfs, and border rivers have more than one established name. That is normal, not rare. Examples: •English Channel (UK) / La Manche (France) •Lake Constance / Bodensee (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) •Lake Geneva / Lac Léman •Lake Malawi (Malawi) / Lake Nyasa (Tanzania) / Lago Niassa (Mozambique) •General Carrera Lake (Chile) / Lake Buenos Aires (Argentina) •O’Higgins / San Martín Lake (Chile / Argentina) •Gulf of Aqaba (Jordan, others) / Gulf of Eilat (Israel) •Lake Nasser (Egypt) / Lake Nubia (Sudan) There are dozens of international lakes and many more shared seas and rivers. UN geographic-name guidance even assumes this: if countries sharing a feature cannot agree on one name, maps may use both.91 So if the question is “two countries on the shore, two names in their own languages,” the answer is: this is typical. The rarer case: a naming dispute A smaller set of waters have names that are treated as a sovereignty or identity issue, not just a translation. The well-known ones are few: •Persian Gulf vs Arabian Gulf •Sea of Japan vs East Sea (and North Korea’s “Korean East Sea”) •South China Sea vs Vietnam’s East Sea vs the Philippines’ West Philippine Sea (for part of it) Those get attention because the name is used as a historical or territorial claim, not because dual naming itself is unusual.104 Rough frequency •Shared shoreline + different local names: common — the default for international lakes and many seas. •Shared shoreline + an active international naming dispute: uncommon — a handful of prominent cases, plus smaller local ones. Most of the time countries just use their own name at home and live with the other name abroad. The fights start when one side wants the world to drop the other name.
