Training for geological exploration of the Moon starts underwater.🌙 For the first time in the @NASAArtemis program, two @NASA exploration geologists and Artemis science officers suited up together for a lunar training development session in NASA’s Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory @NASAJohnson. Side by side, they tested our prototype geology tools and deployed a mock lunar payload under low-angle lighting, mirroring the extreme environment of the lunar South Pole. Training like this is helping pave the way for Artemis IV, the mission that will return astronauts to the lunar surface for the first time in more than 50 years.

Her grandmother sewed clothes for the family, her mother built a marine canvas business from the ground up, and Linda followed, stitching sail covers and upholstery long before a recruiter spotted her work online and brought her to Axiom Space. To Linda, sewing isn't just a hobby, it's a craft that's shaped human history and carries real weight; she's helping build the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (#AxEMU) that will protect astronauts on the lunar surface during future #Artemis missions. For Linda, the stakes high: "It means somebody's safety in the long run. We have to get it right the first time."

In Paris, Axiom Space and The Exploration Company entered into a Cargo Services pre-booking agreement for space transportation and logistics. We will work together on the critical architecture needed to support human space exploration onboard #AxiomStation.

President John F. Kennedy declared at Rice University 64 years ago that we were going to the Moon. Weeks like this remind me what an amazing time it is @nasa  Since Monday I spent time in @NASAArtemis suits looking at displays, evaluating cabin layouts for @blueorigin & @SpaceX @ then hours underwater @NASAJohnson in @Axiom_Space suit….All before heading to @NASAKennedy for #maxpower in a T-38 with @astro_deniz who’s flying to @Space_Station on next Soyuz. All in all I think I interacted with every current & future human spaceflight program & what struck me was as cool as hardware is, it continues to be humans that are even cooler. The teams, the dedication, the passion, the love of exploration….it’s why I come to work & why @NASAAdmin @rookisaacman is inspiring humanity to continue pushing to the moon, Mars and beyond.
