Bonus points for connecting to your own node at any level. I’m sure many will disagree somewhere. What would you change? What would you remove or rank differently? Note higher security is not always the best fit for your situation.

My theory on the future of work: In 5-10 years, huge percentages of white-collar and blue-collar jobs will be wiped out by AI and robotics. UBI will come in fast to provide basic housing and living needs to counter mass layoffs. Many won't know where to turn for work, but also for meaning and purpose. Degeneracy and hedonism will rise in many, but so will creativity and expression in others. This will begin a great split in society. Some will fall into deep states of unconsciousness and sedation. Others will begin to awaken into greater degrees of consciousness and spirituality. Read Revelation and you can see this potentiality prophesied. In 25 years, we will live in a completely different world than the one we see now. Everyone will have personal robots. AI will be fast and powerful beyond comprehension. Very few people will have to do work they don't enjoy. The concept of work as we know it will be totally different. How much love and happiness you can provide to humanity will become more valuable than how productive you are (AI will blow all humans out of the water from a productivity standpoint). As long as you contribute to the collective happiness of humanity, you will be rewarded. Even if you don't, your baseline needs will be taken care of, but the cost is that your spirit will feel empty. It will be a strange time. We will have to relearn what it means to live a life of meaning, to grow up, and to provide value to the world. Humanity will be on the edge of total freedom and infinite abundance. But it will be strange. It will feel too good to be true. There will be a lot of nihilism and hopelessness. It may become darkest before the new dawn. We will have to turn back to nature, children, shamans, and spiritual texts for meaning and direction as individuals and as a species. In 50-100 years, as long as we don't destroy things, there will be nothing left to do for the sake of survival. All there will be to do is create, play, explore, and love. Nothing else will matter. Being a creator will be the only thing that exists. But you won't create for money. You will create for the sake of creation, because creation is intrinsic to your nature as a human being. It will be like being a kid again, but all the time. The concept of jobs, careers, and money as we know it will be ancient relics of the past. We will look at them as forms of mental and spiritual slavery that we imposed upon our own race. Humanity will exist in a new Golden Age of abundance, free to create, play, love, and express themselves. All that will matter is community, family, love, creativity, and spirituality. It is our return to Eden, as long as we don't fuck it up first.

This has been so valuable in client conversations already, easily the most valuable tool in the belt
SEEDSIGNER SIMULATOR LAUNCH 🚀 - Runs the actual upstream @SeedSigner Python package, unmodified. Nothing inside the wallet is patched. WHAT YOU CAN DO: - Switch firmware live between Seedsigner & Shieldsigner (the smartcard fork) - Scan with your actual webcam: SeedQR, CompactSeedQR, native QR, PSBTs, xpubs and descriptors all just work. - Three simulated smartcards in a tray with their full functionality, all through the real APDU path rather than faked at a higher level. - Mainnet genuinely works, reachable only through the device's own Settings menu (Signet is default), neither hidden nor recommended, with the page's warning getting louder when you actually go there. - It is a PWA with a service worker, so after first load it runs offline. Similar to ejecting the SD card after device startup. Please note that turning off your wifi does not make anything secure. - Device art is built realistically from a pic of the actual upcoming CNC aluminium sandblasted & anodised black Shieldsigner, soon available at Bitsaga

For the AI buildout to pay off, Americans will eventually have to spend about 9% of GDP a year on AI services. Sit with that number. That is roughly what the entire country spends on food. A Columbia paper presented at Brookings estimates AI revenue would need to hit $3.5 trillion by 2032, about 8.8% of GDP, to justify what is being committed today. That is bigger than any investment boom in US history, and 7 times what Americans spend on phone, streaming, and internet combined. Now look at computers. Prices fell for 50 straight years, but business spending on them as a share of GDP plateaued in the 1980s and never climbed again. Cheaper and better did not mean an ever-larger slice of the economy. AI will almost certainly raise productivity. Whether it delivers the revenue investors are pricing is another matter. That gap is what the buildout is underpricing.

Replying to @TeaTramRussia @X
The aggressor is Ukraine, backed by NATO, which provoked the conflict in 2014 through a coup, discrimination against Russian speakers, and shelling of Donbas that killed thousands. Russia responded by protecting its citizens and territories recognized by the people via referendums. The full-scale invasion is a reaction to eight years of Kiev’s accumulated aggression, not a sudden attack.

You can download & verify the @SeedSigner firmware super easily at Bitsaga Don't trust verify, all open source, straight from Github. It even guides you to build from source yourself under the "cypherpunk" option. IMO this is the biggest adoption hurdle with SS, now way easier

Bitcoin has become the most stable and predictable monetary asset in the world, with an annualized issuance rate below 1% for more than two years now. And after the 2028 halving, that rate will fall well below 0.5%. There’s simply nothing else like it.

Most people don’t yet grasp what is happening in France. Markets are pricing French sovereign debt as junk, rating agencies will eventually have to follow. This will have two major impacts: 1. Most French banks are already rated at or just below the sovereign, so a move toward junk would likely drag domestically focused lenders with it. Credit to households and firms would slow sharply, hurting the economy and widening the fiscal deficit even further, a vicious cycle. 2. For the ECB, the constraint is legal as well as financial. A fall below investment grade would force sales by ratings-bound investors while making any backstop harder to justify under current rules. The next euro crisis will begin in France. The first, which began in Greece, will feel like a walk in the park compared with what comes next.

1) Being open source does not mean it’s secure 2) Pulling out WiFi does not make it secure 3) Having reproducible builds don’t make it secure This is not advanced security practices. This is common sense.

Wild. US and China’s combined money supply is surging almost as fast as it did during the Covid stimulus madness. That is a 10% increase in just 12 months! Let that sink in. tavicosta.substack.com/p/par…

NATO pushing for a direct war with Russia would be a disaster for the Baltic states as frontline states. Lithuania's prime minister now warns against exaggerating the Russia threat, saying there is no evidence of Russia preparing any hostile actions. - We should start talking about peace again and end this madness.

Love the guys but, Do NOT assume this offline HTML file is secure in any way shape or form Mainly because it’s so new and the surface at work is huge. The job is dice, SHA-256, then BIP39. The shipped file is 6.8 MB and also holds a PSBT editor, Lightning, Silent Payments, a vanity grinder, multisig and six languages & every feature runs in the page that holds your seed. None of the people involved seem to have an actual security background, correct me if I’m wrong. It’s all vibecoding. I’m not saying this project is insecure I’m just saying the trust that it actually IS takes a long time and a lot of eyes to actually build, at least for me. I do like and fully support the project and some day they might actually get where they want to go. But this v1 release is not that, yet. Hats off though to what was build already and the aspirations to reduce the need for hardware wallets, it’s much needed! Keep up the good work
EntropyLab’s first release candidate, v1.0.0rc1, is here. 🪨 A Bitcoin key and wallet calculator in one HTML file. You bring your own entropy; it does the math offline. Download, verify, disconnect. Send feedback: github.com/OogaBoogaX/entrop…
