Growing up is hard (I hated it, most girls do) but humans have managed it for generations without genital surgery and without being given very damaging blockers and hormones.
Adolescents experiencing gender distress deserve honesty, not apocalyptic messaging. Telling adolescents that society is trying to “erase” them, “push them out of public life,” or that they are victims of a “trans genocide” can deepen fear, hopelessness, and alienation. Responsible adults should be helping them build resilience, not convincing them the world is out to destroy them.
