There’s a Nigerian guy on YouTube called Wakadroidclips who has explained the LAPSETT project in detail, from why ethiopia stopped doing business with eritrea , why dangote chose lamu instead of Tanga, how the project has been developing since its groundbreaking in 2012

One of the things we don't speak a lot about on cost of road construction going up after 2013.. is the closure of the refinery. Our bitumen demands before 2013 were around 18k metric tons compared to today at 350k metric tons. Now consider the effect of this on Forex reserves

Its crazy that Dangote is importing machinery for a project with no visible document. No Environmental impact Assessment, No approval from the County Assembly , No single document for the construction plans. The construction company has no licence in Kenya.

Aside from hardware, the last major software. Fixing the judiciary is one of the lowest-hanging fruits. A serious country should have cases heard and resolved in six months. Triple the Judiciary judges; Hire 3 times more; Reduce back from 3yrs to 1yr; Investors will pour in.
