Benchmarking The Witcher 3 at 1440p on the RTX 5070 Ti revealed performance gaps between builds. The classic edition running DLSS 5 outperforms the remastered release with path tracing by 25 FPS, delivering 69 FPS against 44 FPS.
Switching the remaster to standard ray tracing brings performance to 65 FPS, trailing the classic game by 8 FPS. Path tracing calculates realistic diffuse illumination and natural soft shading across character faces and clothes.
The classic version produces a darker and more contrasted image with rigid shadows, yet neural rendering maintains exceptional texture clarity and sharpness across fine details.

I have this exact same issue.

Here are the issues I’ve encountered so far in The Witcher 3 Remastered:
📌 The overall brightness and tone seem off. I’m sure you’ve noticed that many people are currently turning Bloom off. This should be the first issue to address.
📌 Indoor areas can be excessively dark. Sometimes they even appear brighter for a moment and then suddenly become dark again. There seems to be some inconsistency with the lighting.
📌 Related to the issue above, when you light a torch and then put it out in a very dark area, the environment remains brighter for a while before becoming dark again.
📌 Roach sometimes gets stuck in bushes or rocks
📌 Some audio issues. After a while, human voices seem to become noticeably quieter.
📌 I’d really appreciate it if you could focus on these issues in the first patch

My biggest issue with this game was the combat/gameplay & bcus of that I was never able to be fully immersed. Tried many times & deleted it multiple times on my PS5 Pro. Now as I attempt to play it on my 1st pc. I can say I'm 100% satisfied & didn't have to spend a extra $100 for it ( PUN INTENDED) Thank you @CDPROJEKTRED
