i can't believe i'm making a linux setup with the same workflow as I make websites? like i'm just yapping in the same normal harness / single orchestrator thread i use for everything, and it's running build commands on the linux machine and previewing everything in qemu and taking before/after screenshots and giving me visual comparisons????? what is happening??????????
ahahahhahahaha i realized you can vibecode linux setups in virtual machines inside of other linux setups, and just watch as your agents config / test everything. i just described a custom window manager grid system and it’s making it happen??? wild wild wild time NixOS rules

no no no welcome to the nimby economy SF really does not have enough housing
SF rent has gone crazy. My tiny 1 bedroom was $4000/month 2 years ago. It’s relisted for $6000 after I moved out. Rented instantly. A friend pays $5K for a sf studio without a dishwasher. How do CS new grads afford SF now? Welcome to the AI economy.

Italians didn't "help build this country" Like the Irish, they largely immigrated to already existing communities, where they leveraged ethnically organized crime and corruption to displace the heritage descendants of the earlier settlers
Community note
Italian and Irish immigrants provided essential unskilled labor for constructing US railroads, canals, public works, subways and urban infrastructure during rapid national expansion from the 1880s-1920s, not primarily through organized crime in static communities. folkstreams.net/contexts/libra… nps.gov/gosp/learn/his… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_A…

Honored to announce my first LessWrong post. It's a weird one, and it may be jarring initially, but I truly believe it is worth a dedicated close-read. It is written in the form of an LLM CoT, but is entirely authored by me. Link: lesswrong.com/posts/vzKWsEsk…

Ari solves a Rubik's cube while Griffin coaches him from what it sees in his hands, and when he goes quiet to think, it waits. Its perception is always on, so it acts without being asked. Note: this actually blew our minds seeing happen live.
