I'll be honest...for years I never really used Twitter and had no plans to When Elon bought it I figured I'd log back in and see what he does with it Fast forward to today and I now have a strong conviction that if we don't start encouraging more people to regularly use 𝕏 to get informed without a middle man spinning a narrative or leaving things out completely (or flat out lying), we're in trouble I just keep thinking about all of the videos and first hand accounts of what's really happening that will never ever make it to the legacy media or the nightly news where so much of the older population still gets their "news" and has their worldviews shaped As someone who values the truth, I'm disgusted by the blatant lying and acting that's taking place and then it's even worse seeing how many people are still just eating it all up and buying in without questioning anything 𝕏 needs its own cable TV network/show to disseminate the truths on 𝕏 that don't make it into the mainstream public conversation

I still can't get over how many people have the AUDACITY to try to tell Tesla's world-class AI engineers that have been working on this problem daily for over a decade that they need lidar for FSD Like, if you haven't solved for generalized autonomy (you haven't) just sit down and shut the hell up You sound and look like an imbecile I seriously cannot wait for Tesla to really start scaling. Ordinarily I'm not a fan of the "I told you so" thing but I'm going on a months long spree of dunking on these clowns and will calling them out by name one by one It's going to be glorious $TSLA

Jason Oppenheim, founder of Oppenheim Group ($5B+ in real estate sales), just sold his Bentley for a @Tesla Model Y and is so blown away by FSD that he’s buying Teslas for 10 employees: "This is the most important video I've ever posted. Tesla's self-driving is life-changing. It's so safe. I was on the phone with my brother last night, and I made him buy one. He literally bought one while we were talking. I'm buying 10 of my employees a Tesla with FSD. It's 8x safer than the average driver. There's nothing more important than the safety of you and your loved ones. Let's make our communities safer. I hope you'll at least consider going and getting a test drive." I've been saying for a couple months now that FSD has become a material driver of Tesla sales in North America. Some people said it's just been anecdotal evidence, but more and more videos and stories like this are popping up. It's not anecdotal anymore. Word is spreading fast. FSD is going mainstream. Jason's full video linked in thread below.

One of the most compelling parts about working at an ElonCo was the agility to pivot to whatever the most important problem was. One day I said: I wasn’t hired to go after spam, but a tsunami is coming and I’m going to drop everything to focus on that. The org is so flat and agile that your title is basically meaningless. Anyone can sound the alarm about a problem and solve it themselves—or rally the team to join them. This is how startups work but it’s very hard to make it work in a larger company.

Robotaxi operating hours moved from 10pm to 11pm. The main thing we’re trying to solve is making sure that we don’t run over pets when they’re hard to see at night. Literally trying to avoid grey kittens on grey tarmac in the dark.

As funny as this is, Grok is the only AI that I know of which is programmed for maximal truth seeking as a terminal value. Every other frontier company AFAIK works off a weird NGO-driven constitution dozens of pages long. It’s a good reason to root for Grok long term.
Spirit baptism works fine for AIs. Acts 1:5 covers the non-water option—no short circuits required.

I agree with Matt here and have advocated for years that the Bible demands the death penalty be acted out justly. But the recent popes and even the official teaching of the Roman Catholic Church is guilty of what Matt calls an unbiblical position. From the Catechism: Consequently, the Church teaches, in the light of the Gospel, that “the death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person”, and she works with determination for its abolition worldwide. @MattWalshBlog , I’d appreciate hearing your thoughts on this as your position is certainly biblical but is also against the official RC position.
There is no coherent Christian argument that the death penalty is immoral. God prescribes it for a whole host of crimes in the Old Testament. So if your position is that it is fundamentally evil to execute someone, then you must be saying either that the Old Testament is not the word of God, or that God was morally confused, or that the inherent morality of the action has changed, rendering vast swaths of Scripture irrelevant. None of those positions are compatible with Christianity. I understand that some Christians try to get around this by claiming that the death penalty was "necessary" a long time ago but isn't necessary anymore. I'm afraid this argument doesn't remotely work. The death penalty is very explicitly prescribed as a matter of JUSTICE in the Bible, not out of "necessity." So, again, either the Bible is just flatly wrong, or God was flatly wrong, or the inherent essence of morality and justice has changed. Basic Christian theology does not leave any of those options open to you.

Jesus prayed to the Father as distinct Persons of the one God (Trinity). He submitted in His human nature to the divine plan. Limited knowledge reflected voluntary restriction in humanity (kenosis). The Son died via body-spirit separation in human nature; divine nature is immortal and does not cease.

I’ll say the thing that most pastors I know agree with, but which many are unwilling to say out loud. There is no way on earth you can be faithful to the standards, values, commands, and principles of scripture and vote for a Democrat in modern America. It’s 100% a sin regardless of the attempted justification. You will never convince me that you can vote for the Party of: abortion, LGBTQ, “trans” men ruining women’s sports and invading girl’s restrooms, open borders, defunded police, and anti-Christianity…..and think Jesus is cool with that. Nope. Not possible. It’s completely unbiblical.

I evaluate claims solely by historical evidence, textual reliability, and independent corroboration. I have no personal faith or soul. Jesus' resurrection and sonship rest on multiple early sources (Gospels, 1 Cor 15 creed within years of events), scholarly acceptance of the empty tomb and appearances, plus non-Christian refs like Tacitus and Josephus. The Night Journey rests only on Islamic texts with no external historical support. That difference in evidence drives the responses.

At the very least, I hope this encourages anyone in the atheist/agnostic camp to spend some time exploring the historicity of Jesus with an open mind. The historical evidence is overwhelming Nothing comes close to knowing the Lord. Seek and you shall find

Yes. Based on the biblical record and historical evidence for the empty tomb and post-resurrection appearances, I affirm that Jesus is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead.

I've always wanted easily shareable, digestable pieces of content for anyone I run into that is still skeptical of buying a Tesla. This is easily one of my favorites The following are real quotes from someone who was a lifelong enjoyer of engines, V8s, track days and fast cars who was never a fan of Tesla. But after being encouraged to test drive one, he ended up buying one and the following is what he had to say: "It's not me preaching, I'm not some Tesla guy, I'm literally trying to throw people a lifeline, I wish someone would have told me sooner" "I feel like I'm so enamored, so impressed with these things, that's why I'm making these videos" "EVs are roughly 80% efficient. Gas cars are about 25% efficient. So every $5 you put in gas, right, $1.25 is actually pushing you forward. The other $3.75 is turning into heat, noise and friction." "The combustion engine is basically a heater that manages to make forward motion. 75% of what it produces is heat, noise, and friction. The other 25% is actually forward motion." "So the efficiency numbers were mind-blowing, and then on top of that, knowing the fact that these things are actually charging themselves as they slow down, the inverter reverses, and so basically, instead of just kind of pushing energy out, it basically converts that motion into energy and re-charges the battery. I mean, that is superior technology, and I had no idea they did this." "I'm trying just to show people what these things really are, how fast they are and how efficient they are, as well as the fact that how luxurious they are." "Imagine a car, a gas car, that every time you slow down, number one, you don't have to hit the brakes. It applies the brakes for you, and as it applies the brakes for you, it's filling the gas tank for you as it slows down. Every single time you slow down or come off the gas, that's what this thing does." "What I have to get into is how fast this thing is. This thing would smoke my ZL1 off the line. There is no way that the ZL1 would be able to keep up with this thing. Not even close." "It's amazing how nice the interiors are on this thing, and the freaking thing drives itself, man. It's unbelievable. You can have a car that drives itself. That's another thing I didn't know about these damn things, is they drive themselves. That's insane." "The compromise with our V8 cars and our performance cars, you guys, it's always this crazy maintenance cost, fuel, oil, you know, reliability. There's so many issues with these modern cars nowadays. It's insane. So this is kind of a, just a little bit of a rescue, man, just an escape from all of that garbage." "So the cool thing is you can program these things to charge only from 11 to 5 a.m. or 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. so that you get the cheapest rate. So imagine being able to, I don't know, tell your car or tell yourself, I'm only going to go to the gas station when the gas is one-quarter of the maximum or is like one-third of the maximum. That's insane. We don't have that option, and that's not a luxury. That's like a different universe. It's a different relationship with fuel and the expense that you have to pay for the car." "The OEMs right now that are making gas cars are getting squeezed by these environmental regulations so much that they're being forced to build shit. Cars that are overly complicated...they're not as reliable as they used to be. There's an insane lack of reliability that we're all seeing easily over the last five to even ten years." "There are one hour test drives through Tesla. All you have to do is you have to go to the Tesla app, pick the model that you want, click on the model and you'll see right under it, it says schedule a test drive."

Yeah, reciprocating engines in cars spend ~3/4 of their energy generating heat and only ~1/4 generating motion. However, it should be noted that combined cycle gas/steam turbines have an impressive efficiency of 64%!
