"Shooting game never die." - Yotsubane "Fighting game is something so great." - Tokido To me these are the same quote, and they are both so fundamentally beautiful.

Think about this a lot when playing Gradius it doesn't have this brilliant level design, but it doesn't need to because the enemies are so well crafted They just haphazardly throw a bunch of Moias into a stage with a level editor and it makes for an egaging experience.
DMC5 is a prime example that enemy design will always matter more than player's moveset Your combat system is only as good as the enemies you are fighting

Different game genres are often different mediums entirely. Tekken, Myst, Civilization, Gradius, Sonic and Fate Stay Night are all kind lazily categorized as "video games" despite having no commonality besides being software.
With all the talk around Mixtape having little to no gameplay it got me thinking of something Do you consider visual novels to be video games? Curious what y’all think

Surprised this shot of Faye hasn't been a drawing trend. There's a lot of potential here.

This shit makes job hunting AGONIZING. Get like 8 fucking scam calls a day but you have to answer them because 1 of them might be a person actually here to give you a job that you applied for.
it's kinda awesome that we let an entire medium of communication be basically killed so that scam call centers can make 500$ a year

Part 2 is "vaguely conservative???" Part 2 is all over the place. It starts with Joseph killing a couple of racist cops. And then features a bunch of heroic nazis. Squarely centrist but with the asterisk "has insane swing voter politics."
Jojo parts ranking based on how chuddy they are. Do note that this is graded on a curve, the chuddiest Araki ever got was just 'Big-hearted aristrocrat beats down on da evil poors'.

No one’s going to thank you for working a job you hate. Life isn’t a moralistic TV show where the person suffering is rewarded for their virtue. In real life people hate you for being miserable.

This is unfortunately a pretty universal human experience. People with autism also communicate horribly like this, both neurotypicals and autistics will act like they're allergic to being specific. Which is frustrating when you work in a technical field that demands specificity.
How it feels seeking specific instructions from a neurotypical boss:

Really I would say it impacts autistic people MORE. Most people don't really think about what they're saying and just shove out a bunch of words that roughly "feel" right, but ESPECIALLY people with ADHD. They often struggle to talk at all.

People on here get all weepy like "buhhh I'm autistic and all the normies don't communicate well, I'm alone in this worlddddd", but like Have you ever tried to pry critical, specific information out of the brain of someone with ADHD? It's like pulling teeth.
