In a real democracy, young leaders like Abhijeet, Neha, Saurav, Aishe, Ashutosh and the hundreds of others who organized all over India this past summer would find a political platform (if they so wanted) and rise up to contest and win elections based on their popularity.
But India’s existing political system is beholden to family firms where none of these talented promising young people could rise to the top of most parties because only the family members are allowed to get there.
India’s politics is closed off for young people and will remain so until we reject feudalistic personality cult politics.
And that’s why in the interim CJP being a non-political pressure group is the best way for Gen Z to directly acquire power without entering the electoral arena.
CJP is a Gen Z revolt against the closed off politics of our country.
