Pretty impressive! Getting really hard to tell.
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Community note
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…

George Lucas is reportedly lobbying for Christopher Nolan to direct a standalone STAR WARS: DARTH VADER film. Hayden Christensen is reportedly attached to lead the project, marking his return to the suit for an R-rated, dark-fantasy exploration of the Sith Lord’s peak Imperial era.
Community note
This post is from a known parody/satirical account. No credible sources support claims of George Lucas lobbying Christopher Nolan for a Darth Vader film or Hayden Christensen's attachment to such a project; these are unsubstantiated rumors and fan speculation. x.com/ChaosCrave_/st… comicbook.com/movies/news/st… superherohype.com/news/694314-ha… superherohype.com/movies/694395-…

Yes! Bet this will be great as a "new way to college" (because "the kids" like to turn every noun into a verb). Horrible there's an offline mode too.
The internet made it possible to know anything. AI makes it possible to do anything. That changes what it means to be educated. And it demands a new kind of institution. Best news ever! It's the little things.
We're adding support for AGENTS.md to Claude Code. Starting today in version 2.1.277, if there is no CLAUDE.md in a folder, Claude will check for and use AGENTS.md. You can toggle this behavior in /config.

The older I get, the more I realize composure is a form of intelligence. When everyone else is reacting, the person who can slow down, observe clearly, and reason from reality has an enormous advantage.

This is the exact stance we took at 37signals back in 2021, and it's still the correct one. Work is a terrible place to litigate societal/political questions unrelated to the business with coworkers. "Do it outside" is also the Omarchy way now. Love that Jensen is affirming it 🤘

As a parent. As a startup founder. This is it. All the advice you’ll ever need!
Underrated life advice: Just stay in the game. The best things in life are a result of compounding. But you can’t compound if you let yourself get taken out of the game. Whatever storm life throws your way, just roll with it. Adapt. Survive and advance. Always stay in the game.

Listen. All you people with health products advertising on every platform, I'm listening. I'm reading. Some of them sound great and I've tried some of them with varying levels of success. Please...STOP TRYING TO TRICK ME INTO BUYING YOUR PRODUCT RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE WITH A SUBSCRIPTION! When I get to the shopping cart and am about to buy and notice that either the only way to buy your product is via a subscription or you did not make it clear that what I licked on was for a subscription and you're only giving discounts (meaning, a more reasonable price), you instantly lost me and I won't try your product. IF YOUR PRODUCT IS GOOD, I WILL BUY IT AGAIN! Please stop trying to trick people into buying your thing. Let it sell itself. No one is coming back if your product is no good either way and you're missing out on sales completely trying to force/trick people into subscriptions. This concludes my old man rant.

I've heard 90% of these. Moral of the story: Ignore all of that! Go build something yourself. However you want. The only thing that matters is the result. This has ALWAYS been the case. Find the signal. Ignore the noise.

Because it means the end of what they built their life around. I used to be one. But life is about adaptation and those that don't adapt, will disappear. I haven't written my own code or used an IDE since March. Developers need to adapt and become the "orchestra conductor".
ai codes better than me why are some old-school developers so offended by admitting ai can code better than them?

If you saturate the colors on the new Tesla Roadster announcement there's a hidden text that says "Where we're going..." which references the iconic Back to the Future quote "Where we're going we don't need roads." Flying cars confirmed!
