AI is making it ridiculously easy to build software. So I’ve been thinking about a different question: If everyone can build, what actually makes a business worth owning? That’s what @profectushldgs is exploring with The Investing Group. tigchicago.com/

I used to think going viral was mostly luck Now we have models like Fable 5 that can analyze a viral video second by second. Why did it work? What was said? When was it said? How was it delivered? Then give you a script to recreate the same pattern. And if your version doesn’t go viral, give both videos back to the model. It’ll show you the differences. Because you probably didn’t recreate it as closely as you thought. The words, delivery, pacing and timing all matter. Virality still isn’t predictable. But it’s becoming a lot less mysterious.

They meet in person in Chicago every other Monday to discuss investing, AI, business models and markets. If you’re in Chicago, you can join them. If not, they livestream it on YouTube and publish the meeting summaries. Internet makes this pretty cool tigchicago.com/meetings

I gave an AI a vague marketing brief and it came back with an actual brand direction Positioning Messaging Creative ideas this is getting dangerously close to the part of building an app where I usually spend hours staring at a blank page the Brand Room by Cuppa.ai
your marketing department now fits in one room 80+ tools on standby. You just talk. The Brand Room by @cuppa_ai for 2-person teams and 200-person agencies p.s. this entire video, the storyboard, and this tweet were built with Cuppa's MCP in Cursor

First month ever making $6k+ I’m SO proud of this one What got me out of the $3k jail: • Launched 3 new products
• Killed what wasn’t working
• Doubled down on what was
• Made a lot from X too But the biggest difference? I stopped trying to make everything work and focused on what actually was

I still do way too much repetitive research before reaching out to people finding dive centers, checking data, jumping between tools, writing the first message... this is the kind of work I’d happily hand over to an agent the tool layer is getting interesting
