I am watching the Seahawks game if the NFL, high value tv with expensive ads. There was just a quick spot for setting a fifteen minute alarm with Siri. I'm this year of 2026. Smh... Whither Apple? It's getting sad.

Hear me out... Religious institutions aren't taxed, correct?
The most powerful new technology in the world is being developed by an insular group of fanatics suffering from a pseudo-religious saviour complex

I am proudly on team meatbag
Kudos to Pope Leo. I am disturbed by how some of my fellow AI researchers keep trying to elevate the moral standing of checkpoints and harnesses. I hope the rest of us on Team Meatbag reject this movement and stay focused on solving real problems and helping actual humans.

Replying to @BradSmi
@BradSmi signed the letter calling for a public safety plan. Today Microsoft staff backed it up, building outreach kits for We Heart Seattle’s street work. Words, then action. One kit, one person, one park at a time. Thank you @Microsoft and the CSGO Team!

This is like Michael Jordan appreciating on LeBron James. If you know tech and comms, you know these two are the best.
I have been reflecting on my friend + fellow @uoregon alum @fxshaw remarkable run as MSFT CCO. It’s been like watching Ohtani play baseball: historic greatness happening in front of you. All of the skills. All of the intellect. All the values. We bore witness. It was incredible.

Excited to share that I have joined @MistralAI, where I will be building a team in Montreal and across Canada to push the frontier of safe, capable, and open LLMs. Mistral has played, and will continue to play, an important role in keeping frontier AI open and advancing it safely. I deeply believe in Mistral's mission, and since joining, that conviction has only grown after seeing firsthand the ambition and commitment of the people here. A big part of my role will also be building strong bridges between Mistral and @McGillU, @Mila_Quebec, and the broader Montreal and Canadian AI ecosystem. And we are hiring! Across levels and across the LLM stack. If you are excited about pushing the frontier, reach out.

I'm this I fully agree with @aidangomez !
It’s quite disturbing that Anthropic has been running a campaign to lobby the major faiths to adopt their own philosophical interpretation of AI, rather than taking input from them. I’ve been fortunate to spend time at the Vatican, and I’ve always asked for advice and guidance, answered the questions asked of me, and been grateful to them for their time and guidance. It’s insane to me Anthropic would actively impose their viewpoint to the extent of threatening to pull out of events that don’t precisely align. It’s a moral arrogance and dogmatism that has characterised EA and Anthropic (certainly its leadership at least) for a very long time. I’m glad these stories are coming out and being exposed.

Wow, I'm always amazed by how creative @donasarkar is!!!!
In today's shenanigans, I am doing the opening keynote for the 6th annual TeamsDagen in Stockholm, Sweden! Over 600 of my favorite Microsoft 365 friends in one room? Yes, thank you! 👯 Today's keynote is called Dude...Where's My Career?! and we are talking about what's the latest in AI this week (Personal. Proactive. AI. Agents), who all is in the game, what it means for enterprises (hint: governance!) etc. Then we'll get into the heart of the topic that has everyone anxious these days: Job Security! I will introduce my brand-new P.R.E.P framework where everyone will forget about future-PROOFING their jobs and instead focus on Future PREPPING themselves for 2030 and beyond! Everyone will leave with a plan and a community to keep them accountable. If you're coming, see you soon 👉 event.teamsdagen.se/

Sometimes I wonder if the politicians in Washington know how badly they are poisoning the job creation climate (aka business) in Washington with taxes, no accountability for worsening schools or dangerous and disgusting public streets, and being dismissive to the people who risk it to make companies ("bye")... geekwire.com/2026/im-not-sur…

Stopping non-competes in the uk... I'm in!
1/ Today we’re launching an open letter calling on the government to end unfair restrictions that stop Britain’s best switching jobs or starting companies. UK AI companies that have raised $5bn agree: our best should be free to start and scale. 🧵 @downingstreet @biztradegovuk

Happy for @MistralAI to be an avid supporter and fan of this approach. You can just do the work, and it's better done with friends!
This is how mature enterprises solve security problems (vs braggadocios press releases that create panic instead).

Vote for these five judges… they are recommended by Republicans because they are more likely to uphold the law, not because they have an agenda. Their opponents are just a radical rubber stamp for Democrats and that delegitimizes the court with rulings based on agendas, not law. There’s a reason these races are nonpartisan. Judges shouldn’t take a side, other than the law.

The “right side of history” folks have been wrong on forced school closures, origins of COVID, forced masking, abolition of the police, puberty blockers and sex change surgeries for minors, de-tracking in public schools, housing first with “barrier free” approach to homelessness, inflation, legalizing hard drugs, and more. Why are we still listening to them?

You threw $30 mill to get rid of the only congressman I liked and thought I was gonna support a single republican after that? That was a declaration of war on the libertarians and we're gonna make it very clear that you can't win without us. Fuck. All of. You.

Wait, is Office back? not trying to make Microsoft 365 replace the word we all use anymore?
We’re building Copilot as a new OS for work that spans every model, every form factor, and every task. Today, we’re announcing our biggest update to Copilot to date, bringing four things together: · Autopilot: proactive and long-running agent built for the enterprise · Code: build apps with Copilot, hosted inside your company’s tenant · Home: Chat + Cowork together · Office: now fully embedded in Copilot (and Copilot embedded in Office, of course!) Plus, you can invoke Copilot in Teams, and we’re introducing Today, a proactive experience that surfaces the most important information from across M365 without needing to ask for it. The way we work is changing and so are our workflows. This update brings AI into that flow, from answering a question, to building an app, to getting work done on your behalf.

"Pynchonian" is the perfect word I didn't know was completely missing from my vocabulary. Admittedly, only a Gravity's Rainbow reader, but with just that I get it...
Unfortunately for Republicans, the situation is very easy to describe: 1. Trump won a cost-of-living election 2. Then he publicly announced a plan to raise the price of imports 3. Then he even-more-publicly started a war that raised the price of gas 4. Meanwhile, he got rich on crypto scams, while engaging in downright Pynchonian misadventures with the reflecting pool and ballroom, which sent the unmistakeable signal that "I care more about random bullshit than America's money problems ... and also I'm not even good at executing on the random bullshit"
