The way the media is highlighting female killers lately creates the illusion that women are (or are becoming) just as violent as men. I do not believe this is the case. The following are statistics pulled from the FBI: In 2023, when the killer's gender was known: - 14,327 were men - 1,898 were women In 2024 the statistics are similar: - 13,469 were men - 1,902 were women In 2023, 1,950 children were murdered. As horrific as these cases are, they are sadly not a new phenomenon. For whatever reason, right now we're just hearing about the most horrifying details from very specific, very carefully curated cases. Think about it: What do Lindsay Clancy, Christa Pike, and Cibelle Savella have in common? They're all good-looking murderers, and the media is playing to their looks (see below). The media even seems to have a type; fair-skinned brunettes 🥴 My best guess is that pretty female killers get clicks. While that's utterly repugnant, the good news is that this seeming increase in female killers is almost certainly an illusion manufactured by the media, and not a rise in lethal ladies or murderous moms.

My husband @adammaanit’s relative Ma’ayan Idan z”l would have been 21 years old today. She was murdered by Hamas three years ago. Just as she became an adult. Her future was stolen but her memory never will be. 💔🕯️

So basically the injection worked, just not as quickly as it should have, and now they’re keeping her alive. Crazy.
Christa Pike still unconscious, on ventilator after botched execution. Exclusive: tmz.com/2026/10/02/christa-p…

Why don’t all Death Row inmates have a Do Not Resuscitate orders? And for the people screeching that capital punishment is inhumane, turning someone into a vegetable and then keeping them alive is actually inhumane. This is the stupidest and weirdest story I’ve ever heard.

This post turned out to be some kind of weird Rorschach test. Lila is against the death penalty. I am in favor of it in serious and extremely solid cases, like that of Pike. However, what Lila is saying is that it’s hypocritical to be pro-abortion, yet against the death penalty. And she’s entirely correct. An unborn baby is innocent, made in God’s image, and has never so much as sinned. A murderer has committed the absolute worst kinds of evil, marring and rejecting the image of God in their hearts.
It is hypocritical to oppose the death penalty but to support abortion.

The more I think about it, I've got some bizarre stories that I've never shared because they're so dang weird. So my dad used to tell this "funny story" about a "prank" he pulled in college. Apparently, there was a young woman at Texas A&M who had special needs. She loved flowers and bugs, and my dad was a biology student, so he convinced her that on June 1*, bees don't sting people, and so she should try catching one. So, on June 1, this sweet young woman picked up a bee and got stung. My dad thought this was hilarious. He told this story to us, and to our church friends, for many years, because that's who he was. And for some reason, people just laughed. I think it was because they didn't know what else to do? But when they laughed, I think it made him feel powerful, because no matter what he did or said, nobody called him out. I think that made him feel invincible. *Could have been another date but I remember June 1.

And no, trauma doesn’t cause evil. Sometimes people just choose to be evil. My dad grew up in an idealistic middle-class Christian family. Sure, they had their issues, but according to my dad, he was never abused. He used to tell a “funny story” about “teasing” his teenage sister by jabbing a knife at her. One time, she instinctively raised her hand in self-defense and he stabbed her in the hand. He ended up taking her to the ER, and I guess the ER doc was super suspicious about what was going on, in their home, because — as my dad recounted the story — that doctor was paranoid and stupid for daring to think he was at fault. My dad had no known trauma. He had the gospel. He grew up in church. He was raised by Christian parents. He chose to be a domestic abuser, child abuser, and deviant. You cannot blame evil on trauma. Ultimately, the one who sins is the one who bears responsibility. The parents cannot be blamed for the evil of the child, and the child cannot be blamed for the evil of their parents.

I am a child abuse survivor. I endured 21 years of violence and sexual abuse. I remember being r*ped when I was 2 or 3 years old. I remember being beat up numerous times. I was suicidal quite a few times as a teen and always kept a bag packed in case I needed to run away. But guess what? I don’t go around killing people. In fact, I’ve never committed any crimes. I am sick to death of hearing idiots excuse, explain, or justify Christa Pike’s barbaric homicidal sadism because she had a crappy childhood. That doesn’t make her actions understandable. It actually makes them WORSE. Because she knows exactly how it feels to be abused, yet she chose to inflict that agony on others. Pike should have been executed 30 years ago. You cannot fix a person who chooses to be broken.

This week Jason and I drove 500 miles through Texas Hill country. In all those miles, I saw 3 Paxton signs and 3 Talarico signs. Either most Texans are too embarrassed by their candidate to put a sign up, or they’re too offput by the options to work up enough enthusiasm.

Justice should serve at least three purposes: 1. Avenge the victim 2. Prevent future victims 3. Inspire fear in would-be criminals Currently, there is no justice in America.

I’ve hidden the majority of the replies on this post because they are vile. There’s a rapidly growing movement in our culture to glorify the wicked and degrade the victim. I believe it is demonic, but either way, we’re in huge trouble. We have to reverse this.
This is Colleen Slemmer. Remember HER name. Remember HER life. Remember HER suffering. Remember HER rights. Remember HER value, dignity, and worth. Never forget who the victim is.

“[One] who is violent, a shedder of blood, who … defiles his neighbor’s wife, oppresses the poor and needy, commits robbery … He shall not live. He has done all these abominations; he shall surely die and his blood shall be upon himself.” — God Ezekiel 18:10-13

BREAKING: Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee is halting the state’s remaining execution for 2026 and ordering a third-party review after officials fail to execute death row inmate Christa Pike. Pike received two syringes of lethal injection Wednesday night but remained alive and could be heard snoring, according to her attorneys and media witnesses. Her legal team filed an emergency motion to stop the execution as the situation unfolded. Pike was later transported to an off-site medical facility. Lee says the state has a responsibility to ensure executions are carried out legally, constitutionally, and effectively.
