With IX3 animation coming to the Webflow MCP, now's a great time to create an Animation Standards agent instruction. You can create it based on your existing animations via MCP. Starter prompt: -- This site includes animation throughout. I want to make sure that's encoded as part of our brand system, by means of Agent Instructions. Create an Agent Instruction skill in Webflow via MCP that sets standards for animation, both in usage and style. Things like: • When to animate (ex: if something appears or changes, like a "reset" button on search, it should usually animate into place). • When not to animate • Styles for animation: easing, timing, amount, etc. • Prefers-reduced-motion support • Anything else you think is helpful Base this off of current animations, and for anything that doesn't have a clear basis already, create your own guideline that fits in with the site. Include our defined preference for animations: • CSS animation wherever possible • IX3 when CSS isn't the best solution • Custom JS only when something can't be accomplished by IX3/is better handled custom

I told y'all Builder Keynote would be fun!
Webflow Conf has a ton of good stuff coming, for everyone who interacts with a websites and web apps. If you're like me, a builder, you're excited to see it all, but the biggest impact for your day-to-day in the next year is 🚢 features. A couple tips for Webflow builders, attending in person or virtually: - Keynote, obviously. I know you want to know where Webflow's going with the company and the product, what the recent blog posts mean in practice, and whose theories this last year were right. I promise it isn't just promo-talk to say this is the most important Conf keynote in recent memory. @YayLT and co are bringing the heat. - "A first look at what's next" at 12:30 ET with @kvwong, @utsengar, Caroline, and Brett. Keynote will make you say "wait WHAT", and this session will be your source for answers. - Builder Keynote!! 1:15 ET with a whole crew. The main keynote is going to be so focused on the big announcements, there isn't enough time for all the new feature announcements. "Quality of life improvements" is underselling it. These are the immediate impact updates and features that affect how you build. Session links in the next tweet - and drop your predictions! Immediately following conf I'm flying my family to a lake house, been such a whirlwind summer getting everything ready for you, it'll finally be time to shut down the wifi for a few days.

I can finally say this with complete confidence: the @figma → @claudeai → @webflow MCP workflow is working beautifully. With the Client-First skill I built, I needed just one prompt to get the entire page implemented with virtually no errors. And it’s worth mentioning that even CMS-driven pages become insanely faster and more pixel-perfect with this approach. This is honestly next-level. Amazing work, Webflow team!! I’m really excited to see what’s coming over the next few days 😂

"Code sweet code"
We're not announcing a release. We're announcing a direction: code becomes Webflow's real source of truth, not an export format. Seeing where this goes at Webflow Conf, Sept 1–3 → wfl.io/4x8irWe
