The webflow community is different than it once was. There are now durable objects and websockets. Thankfully, we still have lederhosen and confetti. Freaking love to see it.
You should we made a Webflow live trivia with: durable objects, websockets with a cloudflare worker and realtime questions, a lot of fun 😛

It’s builder Wednesday at @webflow . What is a small bug or annoyance you our product that you want fixed. Give me a prompt. I’ll start working on it with AI. *I am making no promises* but send them to me.

Do it like this if one-workspace-auth got you stuck
I was today years old when I realized there are two ways to connect Webflow MCP to Claude, and I'd picked the limited one 🤦‍♂️ I used the connector that gives you one workspace, chosen at install. So every time I switched clients: disconnect, reconnect, re-authorize. For weeks. I assumed that was just how it worked. The other way is using Claude Code (in terminal), scoped to a project folder: claude mcp add --transport http webflow-acme https://mcp[dot]webflow[dot]com/mcp -s project Authorize once, picking only that client's workspace. Then cd into the folder and their Webflow is live. You only need the terminal for setup, the desktop app reads the same config. Posting in case someone else is also doing the login ritual four times a day.

Great tips for Webflow MCP2.0 - @EmmettArmstrong makes some good points especially using it to make a local copy of your entire CMS (yes) when making bulk edits.
Ok folks, first video with my new camera setup! In this video, I break down 5 common mistakes people make when working with the Webflow MCP, and how avoiding them can help you get faster, more accurate results from AI. You'll learn why it's important to: - Connect your entire Webflow project, not just a single page - Review every AI-generated output before publishing Start fresh instead of endlessly prompting the same conversation - Give your AI session enough context to work effectively - Set realistic expectations for what AI can (and can't) do Whether you're building websites, managing client projects, or exploring AI-powered development workflows, these tips will help you work smarter with the Webflow MCP.

Long time no see everybody! Those who know me, know that I really like hiking, and I like to experiment. So when Manoela invited me to do a full breakdown testing the new @webflow MCP 2.0, I already had the idea in my head. Take the terrain I hike and turn it into a proper presentation. Along the way it got way way bigger, and it became a full website, eventually: three real mountains rebuilt from actual elevation data. Huge thanks to @crnacura and @cassiecodes for all the help and support along the way🙏 Of course, produced a music for it. Sound ON!

If you can click it in Webflow, MCP can interface with it now + without the bridge app (though check your damn memory files lol). tbc Bridge app is still used for some stuff in designer like screenshots and set selected element but team is working on that too. let us know what you think! I've been working hard on refining my figma-to-webflow skill now that MCP can build pages, work in branches, do components and CMS binding, etc.
Build fast. Build with control. Build for what’s next. Webflow MCP 2.0 is live — prompt @ClaudeAI, @Cursor, or @ChatGPTapp to build, manage, and analyze your site without leaving your chat. Check out the full launch blog to learn more: wfl.io/4b0v5y6

things I've been doing with MCP 2.0: - a fresh new figma-to-webflow workflow. - automating 404 checks as I remove thousands of old redirects - daily site log activity and analytics digest to Slack for team using Claude routines (helps us prioritize and focus efforts) - custom CMS dashboards (filtering + sorting how I wanna! MCP makes a local copy of my entire CMS collection daily (over 4000 items) and I have a custom HTML file that I use to display and organize the information how I choose) - componetizing old sites so their build-mode ready (so much time and clicking saved here). - refreshing designs on old sites with near-zero effort (prob my fave workflow so far. webflow -> paper -> back to webflow.)

Code components are still my favorite tech in Webflow since we got variable fonts.
AI Code Components in @webflow are a huge unlock and they're remarkably different than the code gen you've seen before. Here are some of my favorite prompts and reasons why:
