An important shift in position with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy. At the previous Members Forum on 19 September they were not interested in holding any further discussions on the PCPB's problematic 'consultation' on 'conversion practices'. Because of the dedicated work of women like Mary and several of her colleagues, they have now announced that they will be holding another Members Forum meeting to discuss the controversial PCPB on 7 November. It's vitally important that UKCP members engage in this process to stop Queer ideology being embedded into the ethics charters of the entire therapy profession. This is a very small window of opportunity for therapists to make a difference. Please book your space and ensure you are there.

The Green Party might want to look a little more closely at the social-media activists who spring into action and swarm whenever they or Polanski are criticised. They may find rather too many retired political obsessives spending their days attacking women online — because punching us in the face would get them arrested — alongside, as a friend put it, angry young men who want to like Andrew Tate but also want to be cool. It’s ugly, and a nasty political culture to have flourishing around a party that was once the exact opposite.
