Wife wakes me up on some "coffee grinder is broken" type energy. Me, not a coffee grinder mechanic, say "no problem". Grab an allen key, unscrew the lid, looking at a bunch of gears. No idea what's going on. Strictly vibe repairing. Take some out, tighten some here and there. I don know. It works. Tell wife "fixed". Realize this is what all dads and husbands go through. I've ascended

Me: “Did you really ship that without looking at the code, adding tests or behind a feature flag?” My Intern:

Wrote a post about Jev & how we can use it with (for?) Python! It's interactive! Link 👇

You guys are not creatine maxxing enough
JUST IN: New study reveals creatine may increase muscle mass, strength, cognitive function, & endurance even without exercise.
Community note
The study reported ~1.1 kg DXA lean tissue gain (not direct muscle) without exercise; DXA cannot separate water from protein and creatine causes intracellular water retention, so this does not show new skeletal muscle. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC13… zmescience.com/science/news-s…

I honestly believe there's going to be more software engineering jobs in the future. This is an insight I learned from @cramforce on just how much software is being created. I don't think it's going to be all doom and gloom for our industry. The future is going to be incredible. Embrace it

Yeah - I honestly think its strong harness via CLI (so Claude Code, Codex CLI, Fx, OpenCode whatever) OR Desktop apps (ChatGPT, Claude Code Desktop, T3) and thats based on preference. Then its how you manage each thread/work tree. That's all you need. Even excessive plugins or skills should be used only when needed
Replying to @MelkeyDev
Seems about right. I was trying to make things fancy with subagents but ended up wasting way more tokens for similar quality

Your AI complicated workflow/setup is just psychosis and adds no value. It makes you think you’re doing a lot and gaining productivity but it’s not. All you need is a harness, and a good way to navigate git worktrees

In software engineering, everyone has their opinions. I think I am fairly flexible but one opinion I hold very strongly is Make it work, then make it better. The vision/MVP needs to be strong. You will always improve software but getting that 0 to 1 is the most important part for me
