Too many VCs are funding AI companies that should be features. 12+ startups have raised $72.8M in the last few months for AI visibility (SEO for LLMs). We built it in 3 weeks with 3 people and shipped it for free.

The very fact that Hyderabad has no intercity bus terminal for private buses to board passengers in a dignified and safe mannee should be a red flag. Lives are so cheap in our country, nobody cares.

This is a simple yet effective way to put it. As early-stage VCs, the less we and the ecosystem do to distract them during the 0-1M stage, the better for the company.
I do not care how long it takes for a company to get to $1M in revenue. But I do care desperately, how long it takes for a company to get from $1M-$50M in revenue. The road to PMF is messy, post PMF, it is a game of execution and velocity (speed in a given direction.)

VCs want founders to get out of the box LPs want VCs to get into a box and stay in it
LPs love: - small funds - postinvestment value creation - rigorous investment process - emerging vc brands Founders love: - big funds - GPs who mostly stay out of the way unless asked - fast processes - brands that land hires/customers Generalizing but am I wrong?

An exciting milestone for AI in science: Our C2S-Scale 27B foundation model, built with @Yale and based on Gemma, generated a novel hypothesis about cancer cellular behavior, which scientists experimentally validated in living cells.  With more preclinical and clinical tests, this discovery may reveal a promising new pathway for developing therapies to fight cancer.

Delighted by the launch of the Google AI Hub in the dynamic city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This multi-faceted investment that includes gigawatt-scale data center infrastructure, aligns with our vision to build a Viksit Bharat. It will be a powerful force in democratizing technology. It will also ensure AI for All, delivering cutting-edge tools to our citizens, boosting our digital economy and securing India’s place as a global technology leader! @sundarpichai
Great to speak with India PM @narendramodi @OfficialINDIAai to share our plans for the first-ever Google AI hub in Visakhapatnam, a landmark development. This hub combines gigawatt-scale compute capacity, a new international subsea gateway, and large-scale energy infrastructure. Through it we will bring our industry-leading technology to enterprises and users in India, accelerating AI innovation and driving growth across the country.

"Manus is just a wrapper" Cursor, Glean, Perplexity, Moveworks, Windsurf are all just wrappers without their own models. Wrappers with $50M+ ARR and unicorn valuations. You can build great products and businesses on top of models.

India's win today means that for the first time in its Test cricket history (since 1932), it has more wins (179) than losses (178)! #IndvBan #IndvsBan

At pre-seed, other investors passing isn't signal. Ambitious ideas have risk and unknowns. It's natural to have many skeptics. Some of the best investments I've seen had very few term sheets for the pre-seed & seed rounds. Keep going.

I'm seeing more and more Startup plans project crossing into profitability using Series A proceeds. It's unlikely most will hit these plans or that the Series A will be their last capital raised, but it shows how far the pendulum has swung towards chasing "capital efficiency".

This is unbelievable. The Spanish coach often substitutes Lamine Yamal after the hour mark at the Euros else they have to pay a hefty fine as German labour law prevents minors working after 8pm. ⁦@IExpressSports⁩

6th January 2008, India loose to Australia in a very controversial test match at Sydney . Harbhajan Singh was almost banned from 2 tests (due to Monkey Gate) and India were on the verge of pulling out of the series. Amidst of all these things India were scheduled to play Australia in the third test in Perth, this was India’s chance for redemption not only terms of levelling the series but in terms getting back the pride.
