I'm that Meredith Brooks song, and everything in between. Autistic, liberty-loving, pursuer of knowledge, and very tired of masking.

This sums up my feelings on Shivon and Elon. They both seem like good people.

Either way, I truly wish them both nothing but happiness in their lives and whatever the future holds for them. 💛 I’m guessing she posted this from a place of both hurt and love. We’re all human, and sometimes we say or do things in the heat of the moment when emotions are running high. I really feel for both of them and hope they’re able to find peace moving forward. 🙏🏼💛

Christa Pike snored. Colleen Slemmer was conscious. People are upset about what Pike went through last night on a gurney, with a doctor and a hospital waiting. Here's what the court record says Colleen went through: Pike lured her to a dark, isolated spot on the University of Tennessee campus. By Pike's own account, the premeditated attack lasted 30 minutes to an hour. Colleen, only 19 years old, was beaten, slashed, stabbed, and her skull was crushed. The medical examiner testified Colleen was alive and conscious the whole time. Colleen had defensive wounds. She fought back. Pike stopped partway through to scout the area, then went back to finish it. Then Pike walked back to the Job Corps center. Colleen was found the next morning. No doctor. No hospital. No appeals. No 30+ more years. Colleen didn't snore. She didn't sleep. She didn't wake up with a sore arm. She fought, she suffered, and she died alone in the dark. Save your compassion for the Slemmer family,

The debate is never about the person you’re debating. You can’t move them. It’s about the 3rd person in the room. They can be moved. They’re not just observing your arguments, but how you conduct yourself. Too few understand this.

The number of accounts defending this downgrade in society is disturbing. You can leave your cash in your car seat in Japan and generally expect it to still be there, and people think criticizing the theft of toys in the USA is problematic? People don't want society to be better and it's appalling.
My son broke his arm today so I took him out for ice cream and said he could get a LEGO set and we could build it together. We went to Walmart. Every single LEGO set, even ones that were $7.99, were locked up behind glass. We walked down another isle… same thing. Every single week I have walked in here and more items are locked up behind glass and it takes FOREVER to have anyone help you open something and they make you feel awful for it. It’s honestly barely worth shopping here at all… I felt so bad for my kid. We ended up just leaving without a LEGO set. Whatever we are doing with society that has brought us here… it’s gotta end. This is insane and it’s destroying childhood.

I wish this wasn't a hard concept for people to understand and embrace.
Elon Musk: "We should really accept no racism or sexism in any form, no matter what it’s called, If 'wokism' means judging people by race, gender, or identity - that's racism If DEI means giving advantages based on skin color - that's racism rebranded We need a meritocracy - where people rise based on talent and hard work, not identity politics And free speech only means something when people you disagree with are allowed to speak”

Yup. They are about to find out they brought this on themselves. It didn't have to be this way.
Some of you are spending a lot of energy blasting people on social media for not voting in the upcoming midterms. You should have put that same energy into holding the republicans accountable over the last two years instead of making excuses for EVERYTHING.

Someone can say to Bill Gates: From your Epstein track record and weird relationship to Fauci/Covid. Humanity doesn’t trust you, and you should GFY.
JUST IN: Bill Gates warns AI is powerful enough to cause “a billion deaths.”

Absolutely not the fuck ok. If we don't have standards on ALL political parties in this country, we have nothing left. I condemn this with every fiber in my soul as easily and readily as I condemned the celebrations of Charlie Kirk's death and the suppression of the Epstein files. The tit for tat is dangerous and I refuse to be a mind slave to ideology. Wake the hell up America, so many profit from this division and the only way to win is not to play. Edit: The Libertarian Party had rejected this group back in May and this group does not represent the Party's goals.
I condemn, with every fiber of my being, the threats of and calls for murder from the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire. Every freedom-loving American — Independents, Republicans, Democrats, and, yes, Libertarians — must do the same. Calling for the killing of fellow Americans because you disagree is not liberty. It is absolutely anti-American. You can disagree with someone as deeply as humanly possible. But in the United States of America you cannot call for their killing and go unpunished. I am calling on the New Hampshire Attorney General @NH_DOJ and federal law enforcement to fully investigate these threats and hold anyone who broke the law accountable. Threats of murder like this have no place in New Hampshire or anywhere in America. They must stop. Now.

I may like Sweeney better, but there's nothing wrong with loving your man. Good for her.
I am by no means saying you have to be a Travis fan or a Chiefs fan but to sit here & say you miss pre-Travis Taylor is wild. Look at how happy she is. Her happiness is more important and more real than the idea of her you’ve made it in your head. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There are 174 million women in the United States. According to Grok, approximately 160,000 videos were recorded in support of Lindsay Clancy. It's important to note that these were primarily posted on TikTok, and most supporters posted multiple videos. If each supporter posted an average of 2 videos, that's 80,000 supporters who posted videos. One such video garnered around 300K likes on X. Assuming that ALL of the videos were made by American women (they weren't), and even if we assume that 160K unique users made one video each (they didn't), only 0.09% (or about 1 of every 1,088) women posted a video in support of Lindsay. Assuming that EVERYONE who liked these videos was an American and a woman (they definitely weren't), 0.17% liked a video in support of Lindsay. So to say that American women shouldn't be allowed to vote because less than 0.1% have expressed support for Lindsay on social media is asinine. Not only that, it's anti-American to state that a person's Constitutional rights should be denied because of somebody else's stupidity or evil. Are we going to take away white men's votes because most serial killers are white men? Are we going to take away all men's votes because the majority of trolls on X are male? Of course not. Because that would be stupid and wrong. However, TBH, if you are so stupid that you believe this vapid and irrational propaganda, you should not be allowed to vote. You're far too gullible to make adult decisions. In fact, you have more in common with radical Islam, or Communists, than you do with our Founding Fathers. Consider moving to Afghanistan, Gaza, or North Korea. You'd fit in well there.

Their tears just make me want to support Sydney even harder. Women's liberation is whatever the individual wants to be.
Sydney Sweeney is the funniest stress test feminism has ever encountered bc I was taught that tHE PaTriArChY reduces women to their bodies, denies them individual agency and imposes rules on female sexuality based on what everyone else thinks women ought to be. Meanwhile Sydney is independently wealthy, produces her own projects, owns businesses, chooses to monetize her own sexuality, gains power from doing it and appears completely uninterested in anyone’s permission. And somehow the feminist response is thousands of women materializing to explain that her body is AcksHuAllY a collective political resource and she has a responsibility to use it in ways they approve of bc otherwise she’s “setting women back 100 years” (fucking LOL) So congratulations ladies! You defeated the patriarchy by becoming an enormous decentralized committee of women policing another woman’s sexuality, scolding her for appealing to men and reminding her that her individual choices must remain subordinate to what is best for Women As A Class. Perhaps the funniest part is that the men supposedly enforcing this grand patriarchal system are mostly standing off to the side like “Sydney seems great, let her cook” while the Feminist Liberation Committee is furiously drafting new regulations for what she’s allowed to do with her own gigantic knockers. Incredible operation. You guys are fucking killing it. Extremely boss babe. Very liberation. No notes.

We don’t have to agree on Lindsay Clancy to talk about the part of this case that could prevent the next one. SSRIs, how psychosis actually presents, and how an insanity defense works are three different questions. Right now they’re being treated as one team fight. You can think she belongs in prison and still look at how fast a postpartum crisis moved through prescriptions, ERs, a hotline, and a psych unit. That system, and the pharmaceutical incentives inside it, should be on the table. Not as a loophole. As a warning. I’d rather see a serious discussion there than another week of people using three dead children to score points. @AndrewKolvet

At this point, the left's beloved Kirkiversary is going to become a holiday for the right too. I need a catchy name for all the doxxing and firings going on in Kirk's memory. We should do this every year in his honor.

The Charlie Kirk “jokes” are psychotic. They aren’t even jokes. It’s just: “Look at this mangled corpse. I am glad this happened to someone.” For it to count as dark humor, there needs to be more than naked bloodlust. Obviously anyone who supports that should be fired.

Charlie Kirk was a mainstream conservative. He wasn’t “far-right.” Those who cheered his assassination and continue to mock it would cheer and mock just the same if it were you. The only difference is that Charlie had a platform. He was known. The message these people sent was unmistakable: they see millions of their own countrymen and women as people whose deaths are worth celebrating simply because of what they believe. Never forget what these monsters have revealed about themselves.
