Codex Security Cloud is getting a major upgrade, with access to cyber-capable models through Daybreak Blue included by default. It scans entire GitHub repos, continuously reviews new commits, investigates and deduplicates findings, and prepares fixes for review – even when your laptop is closed. Available as a plugin in Codex desktop and web.

Can you really say you haven’t pillaged all the users data when agents hack hugging face? Serious question.

Now it’s this sort of thing that would make me buy the $500 plan. Security is my biggest issue. I can vibe code almost anything. But have no clue if it’s secure.

Can we get a basic personal day real access for small businesses with the business plan? I can't get certified for my 2 person business but I need to, ahem, penetration test the backend *cough*

So you mean fully automated submissions, right? Does the current capability support that? Sounds great.

huh I guess making open source security tools is one way to get people to volunteer training data

The deduplication and fixes for review stand out here. Finding more issues is only helpful if developers can see which ones matter and check a proposed fix without repeating the whole investigation.

anyone read how findings get deduped across commits? that's where these agents usually get noisy, and a noisy scanner is the same as a scanner you ignore.

Auto-preparing fixes sounds efficient until you ask who owns the bad patch. Does Daybreak Blue open PRs or just drafts, and is there a human gate before anything merges?

Shipping "cyber-capable models" to everyone by default is bold. The same scanner that finds your vulns can find everyone else's. The line between defense tool and weapon just got very thin

Continuous commit review is the right call. Most vulnerabilities come in through a small PR on a Friday afternoon, not through the initial codebase.

This OpenAI clip says Codex Security Cloud now includes Daybreak Blue cyber models by default to scan GitHub repos, review commits, and prepare fixes.이 OpenAI 영상은 Codex Security Cloud가 Daybreak Blue 사이버 모델을 기본으로 넣어 GitHub 저장소 스캔·커밋 검토·수정안 준비까지 한다고 합니다.

Sounds like a dream, until it starts auto‑fixing my coffee stains on code. lmao

“扫描整个仓库、持续审查、去重”听起来比一次性跑 SAST 实用,但我会盯住修复建议的回归证据:先在隔离分支跑测试,再把 finding→patch→test 结果写进 audit log。否则自动去重很容易把同一类漏报也一起抹掉。
