Paradox most retail traders miss: Market got huge. Liquidity didn't spread. Top 10 underliers = 31% of total options volume. Long tail is wide. And shallow. #OptionsTrading #MarketStructure #Liquidity

OPRA message volume (SEC staff data): 9 billion/day in 2017 → peaked at 247 billion/day in early 2025 Even the median day in Dec 2025: 131 billion. The firehose is the market now. #OptionsTrading #MarketData #OPRA

0DTE isn't niche anymore. 19.6% of total options volume at the start of 2022 → 28% now. Same-day gamma is no longer optional context. #0DTE #OptionsTrading #SPX

The options market didn't get a little bigger. Unique underliers: +144% since 2012. Listed option securities: more than 7×. That's a new surface area — not more volume in the same names. #OptionsTrading #MarketStructure #RetailTrading

Negative net GEX across SPY (-3.17B), QQQ, and especially IWM (-4.44B) means dealers are short gamma, so... 👉 expect amplified, trend-following moves rather than pinning!!! $SPY ’s $760 put wall is the key line—hold it and the $761–$772 expected range stays intact toward the distant $785 call wall; lose it and downside accelerates. $QQQ trades between its $730 put and $745 call walls while $IWM sits right on the $280 put wall, making small-caps the highest-vol name if that level breaks.

Negative dealer gamma across $SPY (−$17.8B), $QQQ (−$8.6B), and $IWM (−$6.1B) means today’s tape should amplify moves, not pin them—trade with momentum, not mean-reversion. SPY is already under the $760 put wall with a $745–$773 expected range, so a hold of that zone keeps two-way flow while a clean break invites dealers to chase lower QQQ ($702) and IWM ($287) sit just above their $700 and $285 put walls, which are the only nearby supports that matter. Lose those puts and the path of least resistance is down toward the lower ends of the given ranges. #GEX #OptionTrading #GEXLevels #NegativeGamma

🇺🇸 BREAKING: House cancels TWO WEEKS of September session putting the CLARITY Act at risk of a post-election vote. House Republicans canceled voting sessions for the weeks of Sept. 21 and Sept. 28, leaving the chamber with only one more week of voting before heading home ahead of the November midterms. The Senate is expected to begin work on the CLARITY Act around Sept. 15, but any Senate amendments would require the bill to return to the House before reaching Trump’s desk. The crypto market structure bill could now be pushed into the post-election lame-duck session.

$MSTR gamma — Neutral at $124.39 Call wall 130 · Put wall 90.00 · Net GEX $109.7M MSTR spot at 124.65 with positive net GEX sits above the 114.56 gamma flip and below the 130 call wall, suggesting dealer hedging may suppress volatility… via @OptionScoutAI optionscout.ai/gex/s/apL5dwy…
