Honored to serve NJ-5 | Vice Chair @ProbSolveCaucus | Intelligence & Financial Services Committees | Working across the aisle for Lower Taxes & Jersey Values

I’m proud to join the bipartisan Dairy Caucus to fight for our dairy farmers and continue lowering costs for Jersey families. From our farms to our kitchen tables, we need to support the people who put food on our families' plates!

The diversity of Hispanic and Latino cultures makes North Jersey a strong and vibrant place to live, work, and raise a family. In Bergenfield, I was glad to host a Hispanic Heritage Month Roundtable with community leaders, educators, advocates, faith leaders, and local officials. Thank you again to everyone who joined! wrnjradio.com/gottheimer-hos…

October is LGBTQ+ History Month. It is a time to honor the trailblazers who fought for equality and the Jersey friends, family and loved ones who continue to carry that fight forward today. Everyone deserves to live, love, and work without fear of discrimination. As a proud member of the Equality Caucus, I will continue to advocate for equal rights for all.

North Jersey is home to one of the largest Korean American communities in the country, and they make our state stronger every day. I’m proud to join the bipartisan Congressional Korea Caucus. I'll keep working to strengthen the U.S.–South Korea alliance and support our Korean American community.

According to the FBI, Hamas — a foreign terrorist organization — is raising money on American soil. Let me be clear: if you are raising money for terrorists in the United States, we will find you. Thanks to the NYPD and the FBI, two Louisiana brothers are now charged with funneling money to Hamas under the guise of Gaza aid. We must cut off every single dollar going to Hamas and put the people who fund terror in prison. nbcnews.com/news/crime-court…

ICYMI: There wasn't much daylight between D and R negotiators on transmission parts of permitting bill. “We shared a lot of the same goals in bringing the utility sector into the 21st century in terms of its regulatory structure," a Senate GOP aide involved in talks told me

Sussex County families have zero options to take a train to work or to see loved ones. That has to change. Sussex has the longest commute times in NJ. I've clawed back another $500,000 from Washington to Jersey to help with safety measures at the soon-to-be Andover Train Station to bring NJTRANSIT and Amtrak on the Lackawanna Railway to Sussex County. It’s key to our families and our economy.

AI systems are growing more capable by the day, and the next containment failure could be far more serious. @RepTedLieu, @ValerieFoushee, and I are demanding answers from leading AI companies about incidents where their AI agents have gone rogue. We need full transparency and real safeguards now. wrnjradio.com/gottheimer-lie…

Congratulations, LaMonica and Khalif! So happy for you and your family on the arrival of your new baby. Wishing you all peace, good health, and every blessing.
She’s here! We just welcomed our beautiful baby girl and words can’t describe how blessed my family feels. Being a mom is one of the greatest joys of my life, and I’m beyond grateful. Thank you, everyone, for your love and support. It means the world 💕💕

Every day, Hezbollah is able to keep its weapons and money is another day Iran gets a vote in the future of Lebanon. I just got back from Lebanon with @RepLaHood, where I pressed Lebanese leaders to fully disarm & defund Hezbollah, and deliver on the commitments Beirut made in June. A Lebanon without Hezbollah is key to the future of the Lebanese people, the Middle East, and America’s national security. jewishinsider.com/2026/10/go…

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide. I remain committed to fighting for a cure and passing legislation — like the EARLY Act Reauthorization — to improve education, awareness and early screening access. #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

The actions of the passengers and Captain on the Flydubai flight today were nothing short of heroic. Israeli passengers rushed the cockpit and stopped the attack, saving almost 200 lives. Thank God everyone is safe, and I'm praying for the captain's full recovery. Terror will never win.

I had a great time joining @katiecouric to talk about AI. It's changing everything – making businesses more productive, helping Americans develop new skills, and making incredible discoveries in medicine. But, we need to make sure Americans are protected from its risks. Put simply, we need to get ahead of it, not play catch-up. Thanks for having me to discuss this critical issue, Katie! katiecouric.substack.com/p/m…

Religious freedom is a cornerstone of our democracy. For more than 7 years, Linden's Jewish community has faced a pattern of discriminatory zoning changes and selective enforcement. I'm working with @NJAGO and @TheJusticeDept to review these actions and make sure every family can live and worship freely. jewishinsider.com/2026/09/go…

Antisemitism on campuses has spiked more than 300% since October 7. That's why @RepEliseStefanik and I launched the bipartisan Combatting Antisemitism on College Campuses Caucus to hold universities accountable for protecting Jewish students. Targeting students because of their faith is never acceptable. njjewishnews.timesofisrael.c…

The Korean American community is a critical part of North Jersey — they work every day to make the Fifth District an even better place to live, raise our families, and do business. I was proud to help celebrate Chuseok, and remember that our greatest strength is diversity in the United States!

Since this summer, we've seen a series of rogue AI agents escaping containment and carrying out cyberattacks. If humans were behind incidents like these, it'd be a serious crime. @ValerieFoushee, @RepTedLieu, and I have requested from the leading AI CEOs a full inventory of every time their products have gained, or tried to gain, unauthorized access to a system. Too many of these breaches have only come to light long after the damage is done. The American people deserve transparency. politico.com/live-updates/20…
