Andrew @Cobratate and Tristan @TateTheTalisman have spent 62 days locked inside Miami’s Federal Detention Center. They have not been convicted of a crime in the United States. They have not even been charged with a crime here. They are dual U.S. citizens being held while Britain’s extradition proceedings drag on. Andrew and Tristan have spent 61 days in the Special Housing Unit and were just moved to an even worse cell. They allege there is no hot water, no air conditioning in the Florida heat, and 10 to 15 roaches on the walls and ceiling at a time. Their lawyers say they are getting almost no recreation, almost no phone calls, and no family visits. And yet, the government’s response is that FDC Miami “is not a Marriott.” Meanwhile, illegal aliens are getting better treatment than two American citizens who have not been charged with a crime in this country.
