Evidence of yet another LGBT/Pride charity lacking financial management skills and possibly worse. @LGBTSheffield has over the years provided Pride events and LGBT network/drop-ins with an annual Pinknic, its flagship event.

It seems @sheffcouncil fund @LGBTSheffield to run the City’s LGBT+ partnership, thereby helping deliver the City’s equality objectives. Is this good value and appropriate spending of residents money?

2026 looks promising with another large surplus accrued, a new grant from @TNLUK and presumably continued £10K funding from @sheffcouncil. Why are these organisations funding a charity that had over £48K misappropriated recently and can’t produce consistent accounts?

A further £8,445 was also 'misappropriated' in 2023 but not reported in 2023 accounts. Repeatedly the income and expenditure report for the previous year do not tally with the amounts reported in various annual accounts.

@LGBTSheffield have just published long overdue accounts for 2024 - a bumper year showing an income of £53,770. Shockingly, standard outgoings are dwarfed by ‘loss of misappropriated funds’ of £40,640.

In the 3 years from 2021, @LGBTSheffield received a regular grant from @sheffcouncil but spent less than it brought in, amassing reserves of £30,951.

The #SupremeCourt ruling emphasised the many ways in which trans people are protected by the EO2010 from discrimination. This pedaling of lies by people to the community they are meant to represent and to protect is fueling misrepresentation, fear and division and it has to stop.
to murder of their neighbour for not trimming the hedge - then the question must be asked whether such men are safe to be loose in society at all. We have never needed toilet police and we do not now. We just need respect for each other, and for the law.
tolerant and law-abiding country operates on the basis of a social contract and policing is by consensus. If men cannot trust themselves not to abide by the social contract of not using female facilities - just as they abide by the social contract of not resorting immediately
Heather also makes disturbing and completely unsubstantiated comparisons of sex realism to Nazi ideology which are especially offensive. The world-weary trope of requiring 'genital inspectors' at toilet doors is also mentioned. Heather must come to understand that this largely
