The National Association of Manufacturers works for the success of the people who make things in 🇺🇸. We are the industry’s one-stop resource and voice.
This week marks 250 years since the American experiment began. From the blacksmiths of the Revolution to the engineers behind Artemis II, manufacturers have powered America’s progress every step of the way. #America250@America250

Permitting reform needs to get done this year. NAM's Mike Davin, Senior Director of Energy and Resources Policy, explains why.
Faster permitting creates jobs, generates more electricity and drives innovation all across America.
Congress, let's finish the job.
Thank you Sens. @SenCapito, @SenWhitehouse, @SenMikeLee and @SenatorHeinrich for the bipartisan leadership and hard work to bring a permitting reform deal this close.
Let’s get it done—so we can lower energy costs, get shovels in the ground and build the future in America.
We support efforts to address rising fuel costs, but proposals to ban U.S. energy exports all lead to the same result—a weaker economy for manufacturers and American consumers. (1/3)
The United States is a global energy superpower. An export ban on diesel would force refiners to manufacture less, hurting manufacturers and consumers.
And energy trade goes both ways: we export diesel while importing other fuels, including gasoline. Cutting off our trading partners risks disrupting that system.
We need pro-growth policies that lead to long-term and lasting relief for the country. (2/3)
Manufacturers continue to urge Congress and the administration to advance meaningful permitting reforms to bring down costs.
We must speed up the production of all forms of energy to build for the future while meeting growing energy demands across the country. (3/3)
History remembers the builders.
Today, the NAM launched a new ad making the case that America needs to build faster—and that means modern infrastructure and a permitting system that moves projects from the drawing board to construction. #BuildingToWin
