e2e replay cache makes agentic testing run at deterministic speeds. Well, kind of. e2e cache doesn't skip the tests. It tries to replay it and when the UI changes, the agent picks up where replay stopped so the test can keep going agentically where needed.

Two agents, one Claude Code session, our Shopify test store @Shopify Dev MCP builds, @TesterArmy tests Feature: discount codes in the cart, not only at checkout. Claude wrote it, deployed, TesterArmy shopped it like a customer. Green Then I asked for the cart page too. TesterArmy flagged two things: no discount line, subtotal $80.10 instead of $89. Claude fixed it, re-ran, nine steps green through checkout Side note: Claude and Shopify built the whole store in an hour. Admin API and Dev MCP just work The nine-step check took 1 min 45 s, unattended. By hand I'd need around 10 minutes, and after the fix I'd have to do it all again

Ran gpt-6-luna against our full agentic e2e all test pass, same as gpt-5.6-luna-fast. But 4x cheaper ($0.03 vs $0.15 for both suites) and way fewer wasted turns. we might have a new winner for agentic testing.
