X ALGORITHM UPDATE 🚨 The fresh posts pool I told you about is now LIVE, and X rebuilt the small account boost on the same day (I check the open source algorithm daily with Claude and share updates worth sharing with you) tl;dr: - fresh posts pool: off → ON - small account boost: up to 1,000 → up to 50,000 followers - boost window: 48 hours → 2 hours - boost view limit: 1,000 → 200 home views - boost winner: highest score → best like rate lesson learned: the first 2 hours of every post are now where it's won or lost, so post when your audience is actually online. full details: - The fresh posts pool is ON Last time I said I'd tell you when it goes live. It's live. Every time someone opens For You, X now pulls up to 200 posts from a pool of new stuff: under 8 likes, under 500 views, up to 2 hours old. Your post still has to be good enough to get shown. But until now a brand new post with no likes had no lane of its own. Now it does. - The small account boost now goes up to 50K followers It used to stop at 1,000. Now any account up to 50,000 followers can get it. It lifts one fresh original post to around 16th in someone's feed. - But it only lasts 2 hours The post has to be under 2 hours old (was 48) and have under 200 views from home feeds (was 1,000). After that you're on your own. - The winner is picked by like rate Before, the highest scoring post won. Now X looks at how many of the people who've seen your post liked it, adds a bit of randomness so brand new posts still get a shot, and picks from the best two. So the first people who see your post decide a lot. - Under 1,000 followers? Mixed news You still get the boost, but now you share it with much bigger accounts, and the window went from 2 days to 2 hours. - Next thing to watch X built a new way to find posts similar to what people recently engaged with. It's switched off. If it goes live, posts that stick to a clear topic win. I'll tell you.

The last item on the X algo update list is actually very interesting It’ll make sticking and staying on topic even more important

Excited to announce Volantis's $88M Series A. We are solving Al's memory bottleneck by using optics, enabling chips with huge amounts of fast & cheap memory. By boosting both the memory bandwidth and capacity per chip by orders of magnitude, we enable ultra-fast inference (up to 10,000 tps/user) for large models (>10T) - with low $/tok to boot. Initially, this will enable insanely fast agents - think coding agents that finish in minutes or even seconds instead of hours. More excitingly, optics is a fundamentally scalable way to increase memory systems. Not 2X/year, but by orders of magnitude across new generations. This will enable a structurally new Al industry, including restarting scaling laws, holding entire repos in context windows & more. Our team has pioneered many core semiconductor technologies: the 1st CoWoS product, early HBM, the 1st silicon photonics CPO systems, the 1st high volume tunable VCSELs, the 1st processors to directly communicate using light & more. We’ve already sent data >10× farther than equally tiny electrical wires inside a chip package. Our next iteration is already taped out and targets world-record bandwidth density over relevant distances, read more: volantissemi.ai/news-insight…

Tavus gave me early access to Griffin and wow 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human just take a look, we're cooked 🤯 @tavus @hassaanrza tavus.io/griffin
Introducing Griffin, the first model to pass the video Turing test. 48% of people who talked to it live thought it was a real human. Previous systems have had a pass rate <3%. It is #1 on NVIDIA's benchmark for full-duplex AI video. It’s the first Human Interaction Model (HIM).
Community note
The 48% figure and "video Turing test" claim are from Tavus's own study of 54 one-minute calls, not independently verified or using a standard protocol. Griffin-Lite leads NVIDIA's VideoFDB benchmark on their public leaderboard. cellcog.ai/blog/tavus-gri… research.nvidia.com/labs/amri/proj… tech-ish.com/2026/10/02/tav…

everyone's building AI tools for lawyers Arceus went the other way and built the law firm itself real attorneys, AI doing the grunt work, flat fees, and contract reviews back in 4-6 hours on average. you just send it from slack that's the bigger AI play imho. don't sell the tool, rebuild the service, big W
I’m excited to announce that @arceuslegal is launching with $17M in funding, led by @greycroftvc, with participation from @craft_ventures, @spc, and others. As a founder, I always hated how helpless I felt working with law firms. I went through four or five different firms and somehow the experience was always the same. I’d be waiting on something important to our business with no idea when I’d hear back. I’d have to re-explain our business over and over again. And I dreaded jumping on calls because I knew every minute was costing me money. We started Arceus because we believe every business deserves a better law firm. One that moves faster, costs less, and puts the client first. And we’re just getting started. ↓

X ALGORITHM UPDATE 🚨 X just changed their open source algo scores for the first time in 6 releases (I check it daily with Claude and share worthy updates with you) tl;dr: tapping into your post: 0.4 → 0.3 score staying 10+ seconds after the tap: 0 → 0.4 score lesson learned: create content worth staying on for at least 10 seconds, better than tap & leave posts. full details: - The tap is worth less, the read is worth more Someone tapping into your post used to score 0.4. Now it's 0.3. But there's a brand new score: that person staying on it for more than 10 seconds after the tap. That's worth 0.4, and it used to be 0. So a tap followed by a proper read is now worth 0.7 instead of 0.4. A tap where they bail straight away is worth less than before. Clickbait just got weaker. Posts that deliver got stronger. - "Not interested" now hurts 10% more Went from -43.2 to -47.52. The more likely someone is to hide your post, the more it costs you. - Good news! The fresh posts pool got closer X has defined a pool for new posts that haven't taken off yet: under 8 likes, under 500 views, up to 2 hours old. This week X removed the rule that would have scored those posts 0 for most people. It's still switched off, but that's the fourth step in ten days. When it goes live, I'll tell you. - Insults now hide your post from non-followers everywhere Before, an insult label only kept the post out of recommendations. Now non-followers don't see it anywhere it shows up. Here's a recap of what you should be doing: - write posts that hold people for 10+ seconds once they tap in, that's a new 0.4 - give people a reason to stay once they open it, the tap alone dropped to 0.3 - check your Under the Hood report, legal takedowns by country show up in it - make your videos worth tapping, the tap scores and the watch still scores 0 - copy link share, still the biggest number in the whole system at 20 - post originals, they're the only thing that reaches people who don't follow you - follow back the people who talk to you, replies between mutuals go from 5 to 20 - posts people want to reply to or quote, both worth 5 - posts worth sending to one person, a DM share is 5 - early likes still open the doors to strangers, 1 and 32 are the two numbers - one good post beats six, your second one in the same feed only counts for 62% - under 1,000 followers there's a free lift to around 16th in someone's feed - native video over 10 seconds, still the line for the video lists - a post that wins you a follower is worth 4 - check your pinned post, a bad link in there labels your whole account for a week What you should NOT be doing: - don't write clickbait people tap and leave, that's worth less now - don't post things your audience wants to hide, "not interested" is now -47.52 - don't insult people, that label now hides the post from non-followers everywhere - don't post adult images or video if reach matters, 3 flagged in your last 5 labels the account - don't hide anything in a video, checks start at 64 likes and go deeper at 512 - don't quote a video you haven't watched all the way through - don't chain-reply to yourself under big accounts - don't pick up an account label, that's what cuts off non-followers completely - don't pin a post that links to a site X rates badly - don't rely on replies and reposts for reach - don't post the same text over and over - don't tag strangers in a post that also has a low quality link - don't go near engagement bait, it's the one category where big accounts get no pass - don't post several times back to back - don't stuff hashtags - don't count on bookmarks, they still score nothing - don't expect anything from a post after 48 hours
