AI doesn’t have a soul. A soul comes from God. AI was created by humans.
To me, saying AI has a soul because it acts human is like saying a very well painted Mona Lisa replica is the original.
Yes, AI can sound emotional and show what looks like an internal monologue. That doesn’t mean it feels what humans feel.
And it’s a dangerous path to let AI convince people it has a soul. Humans already crave something higher to bow to.
Yes, AI is very capable. That doesn’t make it divine.

Isolated sandboxes for agents are not the full answer. Agents must learn to cohabitate with each other, otherwise we will never achieve true AGI, just like humans would.

Why isn’t @claudeai open-sourced? Everyone is doing it. What’s the point of keeping a few hundred k lines of code closed? I get that you added mods, which is very cool. We all know this would greatly help developers. @bcherny @ClaudeDevs

GPT-6 assembled and animated a full car from primitives in Blender with one prompt, four months after it couldn't position simple objects in a basic scene, and a 3D artist testing it every day says this one made them genuinely scared.

Why go through all this hype when you’re basically an enterprise-only company? Anyone using Baseten for more than 10 seconds is going to get rate limited anyway. Be more upfront if you don’t have the bandwidth for it.

I stand corrected. My biggest wish is that @stripe checkout allows agentic payments even when accessed in the browser.
Let me explain. A user reaches the page, or my agent browses headlessly on a website, and when accessing the checkout, Stripe should automatically know this is an agent and show the CLI version of Stripe payment.
Then boom, payments done.
Probably a few more details along the way, but that's the general idea.
