If left to my own devices, I will build more. Running @co2trackers. No I don't want this damn unearned blue check, I want the features and the 2fa.

I'm proud to officially announce that I'm the recipient of a generous grant from @VitalikButerin's Balvi fund to support the operation of @Co2Trackers. With this support, I hope to bring indoor air transparency to the masses.

A concerning dimension of this news is that they initially thought the woman with plague just had COVID. In a world with overlapping symptoms and normalized respiratory infections it would be easy to miss.
Some scenarios of pneumonic plague include endorphin-related modification intended to encourage social contact and further spread. This is concerning because it likely has some aerosol capabilities.

Someone needs to ask Trump what he thinks he is charging Korea for?
Trump on South Korea saying they haven't signed off on an Alaska pipeline despite Trump saying they did: "If they don't want to do it, that's okay with me. I'll just charge them more. Tell them if they don't sign shortly, I'm gonna double it up."

New matchmaking client, 35, 6', splits time between LA and NYC. He’s from a wealthy family, and says most of the women he’s dated have similar backgrounds. We’re discussing his relationship history, and he says he broke up with his last girlfriend, NYC-based, due to “entitlement issues.” I ask him to tell me more. He says he expects to pay for most bills, but his ex never offered to pay for anything. Not ice cream after dinner, not coffee, not even once. The straw that broke the camel’s back? He’s visiting her in NYC, they’re walking around SoHo, and she spots a beautiful jacket in a store window. He likes the jacket too, so they go inside the store to check it out. Turns out the jacket is unisex. She’s a small, he’s a medium, so he says, why don’t we get a medium and share it? The medium is oversized on her, but she says she likes it, so he buys the jacket, and she keeps it with her in NYC when he returns to LA. Fast forward two weeks, and he’s back in NYC to see her again. They’re at her apartment getting ready to go out to dinner, and he decides he’ll wear the jacket. He puts it on, and it doesn’t fit anymore. He mentions this to her, and she says: “Oh, the medium was too big on me, so I exchanged it for a small” 💀

I love those interviews of Italian business owners where the interviewer asks them how they feel about having to provide mandated month-long vacation time to their employees. Instead of bitching they were like, "We are HAPPY to be able to provide a good life for our employees."
Bill Burr: “How big does your yacht have to be? I have no problem with people having zillions of dollars, but pay the workers, give them benefits. Most people don’t have ridiculous demands. It’s like I would like to have a family, be able to clothe, shelter, and feed them and not have to worry every month that I’m gonna be homeless. The more of a reptile you are, the more ruthless you are, it’s respected in business. They hide behind well that’s how business is done. No, it isn’t. That’s how you’re doing business”

I once worked with someone who wrote multiple compilers and a huge compiler framework by himself and all the code looked exactly like this. Twenty years ago or so. One day I emailed him about a bug and he sent me a patch by mail that had like 50 new lines like this. After applying it, I found one typo that indicated he hadn’t tried it. I wondered how it was possible to get 99% of a patch like that right in one shot. Now I wonder if he was a time traveler with an LLM.

My take on reversing the CoreGraphics bug: <1h net solo time, 95% autonomous, without ghidra or ida!
⚡️ 0-Day Alert: Apple CoreGraphics RCE exploited in targeted attacks CVE-2026-86950: out-of-bounds write in CoreGraphics parsing a maliciously crafted image/PDF, leading to arbitrary code execution. Both iOS and macOS are vulnerable. This AV is reachable through a wide variety of iOS native and 3rd party apps that render graphics, such as WhatsApp (first suspect due to report credit), Safari, iMessage, etc. Zero-click where auto-preview renders the file. However, the bug alone is not enough to compromise the device, and requires further chaining such as sandbox escape and EoP. These further bugs are not public. Patched in iOS/iPadOS 26.7.1, macOS Tahoe 26.7.1, macOS Sequoia 15.8.1. intelligence.zerodayengineer…

HOLY MOLY: Anthropic is now investing $100 million to train 10,000 engineers to deploy Claude inside companies by the end of 2027. The first cohorts include engineers from Accenture, Bain, Capgemini, Deloitte, McKinsey, Morgan Stanley, Novo Nordisk and Commonwealth Bank. Companies nominate their strongest engineers, who go through an in-person simulated enterprise deployment and graded practical before spending 12 weeks leading a real Claude deployment inside their own organization. Anthropic says they will be trained the way its own engineers learn. Anthropic already has 175,000+ Claude certifications across 46,000 firms. The first Frontier Deployed Engineer credentials are expected in early 2027.

🚨☣️More details on the Oct 1st pneumonic plague outbreak in Siberia, after a lab accident at a BSL-3 lab. "FSB units accompanying ambulances transporting people who had been in contact with [lab tech] Shipilova for medical examination," as per local news. This is significant. FSB is Russia's domestic security / counterintelligence service, tasked w/implementing the national security of Russia." (Its predecessor was the KGB). This suggests quarantine was not voluntary. It also means Russian authorities are treating the lab accident and plague outbreak as a national security issue, involving a lot more than routine public health.

Since I already in trouble, time to dive deeper into trouble. The ongoing pandemic is a direct result of many bad actors, public health, infection prevention committees, the vast majority of medical professionals, etc., etc., etc. The worst group - governments the world over, especially POLITICIANS, their advisors, their donors and their corporate masters. ESPECIALLY the politicians, their craven cowardice and lust for power. The blood of tens of millions of deaths and hundreds of millions of newly disabled hangs heavy, indeed. Trolls and turnips, you will be blocked mercilessly, so stop with the anti science, antivax nonsense.

Calling this "a man who loves rub & tugs" is a grotesque rewrite. Watson wasn't accused of hiring sex workers for consensual handjobs. His accusers included licensed massage therapists & spa workers who said he made the sessions sexual WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT. That's the point.
Imagine an Only fans creator calling a man that loves rub & tugs a predator online lmao hypocrisy She literally sells videos for men to rub and tug themselves to her, but has the nerve to call Watson a predator because he enjoys a rub and tug from a female. I hate hypocrites

Pretty devastated to have become officially unemployed due to severe and incurable sickness, at the age of 35. For all those ghouls out there, I continued to work from bed until I was briefly hospitalised with dangerous heart rhythm changes during an autonomic crisis in April 2025, after having been ill since a mild COVID infection in 2021. As everyone who knows me is aware, things drastically deteriorated from that hospital incident, leaving me almost completely bedbound and reliant on full time care. No wedding. No children (apart from Rocky the cat) No job. No economic activity. My NHS GP is an absolute diamond and has finally secured my bedbound status so I can get some the basic blood tests and injections I need at home. She's also taken on all the private specialists' prescription requests and never once asked me if I'd considered getting some sunlight and going for a walk. However aside from her, the NHS does not give a F***. The government does not give a F***. The media does not give a F*** (apart from George Monbiot and less than a handful of others) My question is therefore simple. HOW DARE THEY COMPLAIN ABOUT SICKNESS RELATED ECONOMIC ACTIVITY WHEN WE ARE SCREAMING OUT FOR HELP TO GET BACK TO WORK??

Rape victims usually compartmentalize things and act out their usual selves to keep some semblance of reality and continuity of their life. If you let yourself fall apart, you fall apart completely. You not only don't want to accept a part of you is broken, you can't. So you overcorrect. I continued posting photos just like these or moments I tepidly enjoyed moments of life, even when I was usually spending 23h a day in bed for a couple years. You can look at my IG - I made sure this period of years was indistinguishable. Depression in a previously type-A person rarely looks like the stereotype, if it ever does.
