There needs to be some new form of the “open source” concept for the vibe-coding era. 100,000 developers are building their own custom solutions to the same problems. Some of those solutions are probably amazing. Some would be amazing if combined with others. But instead, the wheel gets reinvented 100,000 times, burning a forest of tokens in the process. Imagine a central library or App Store where agents could find, reuse, combine and improve the best solutions people have already built. Yes, this sounds a lot like open source. But GitHub is organised around repositories and projects. I’m thinking of something organised around capabilities: an agent-native library of solved problems rather than a collection of codebases.

Astra is good - but very token hungry.

This age of AI software creation is the most exciting technical development since the internet!

Burn baby, burn! Token inferno..

Just built a cross-harness/app/model messaging & conversation system. Any interest in open sourcing it?

It seems trendy for developers to jump on Linux as the main OS right now. This trend comes and goes. You can pry my MacBook from my cold dead hands. Linux belongs on the server. 🙂

I've changed my tune somewhat. Omarchy may not be for me, but I'm glad it's happening.

Using coding agents in a terminal feels like going back to being a caveman. Agent UIs are undoubtedly the best way to do this.

Vercel and Laravel Cloud are great if you want a good UI and simple deployment/server management. But these days, give Claude an AWS API key and there's nothing it can't do (for a fraction of the price, and more control over your server environments).

The over complicated AWS UI should no longer be a moat.

All these cloud services are just wrappers sitting on top of AWS anyway. (and charging a "man in the middle fee").

I wonder what the ratio of project started on loveable/replit/bolt.new/v0 is - comparing projects started, to products deployed and completed. 🤷‍♂️ "The agentic last mile problem" is real, and it usually takes experienced developers to cross it.

The difference between "it looks like it works" and "it actually fully works, properly" is monumental.

Too many dev & preview servers running at once? Barracks gives you full CLI and web control over your local fleet.

Tried to buy a digital only release on Bandcamp and it's "sold out"...!!! Huh? 🤔

This is frightening (and useful): Feed a year's worth of bank and credit card statements to Claude and get it to make you a giant dashboard of spending habits... 😬

I’m the worst “indie hacker” on the planet. Always inspired to make projects that could generate income but instead end up writing dev tools and frameworks.

Fable as an orchestrator, delegating to opus 5 subagents is a highly productive formula.

Not to mention highly token efficient (compared to fable just doing everything).
