Any math teacher who got into education for students first and content secondary I implore you to convince your school to pilot @_MathAcademy_ My transition from teacher to guide for these 30 students is amazing from every angle. This pilot is so much fun! ⬇️

I wanted to mentor youth. Teaching was the best avenue. Math was the only thing I was even reasonable at. With Math Academy doing content, my role is exactly what I signed up for 12 years ago. Students drive their education. I'm the coaching layer.

Agree but w/ slight rewording: "translate into a real-world job" ➡️ real-world value "pathways that prepare them for the workforce " ➡️ prepare them to be valuable If we add value to others then our goals will be aligned.
This is fake news at its finest.    First off, we’re not ‘banning’ any program. The federal government doesn’t set curriculum or programs.    Here’s the truth: we are holding colleges accountable for leaving students worse off than if they never enrolled. Too many graduates report delaying major life milestones like buying a home or starting a family. Why? Because low return-on-investment programs saddled them with unmanageable debt that was never going to translate into a real-world job.    Federal student loans are not a welfare program for failing college programs. American students deserve education and training pathways that prepare them for the workforce – and transparency about programs that will never pay off.

If the best form of flattery is imitation I hope @Alphaschool is flattered. My first 6 student @_MathAcademy_ pilot was fundamentally flawed: no true student/parent buy-in. My fault. So I Fixed It. ⬇️

I surveyed and pitched ~350 future 7th/8th graders. Narrowed that down to a blunt "Do you really want this" filter which lead to a mandatory in person parent night and finally had our class of 30. We didn’t pick by grades — we picked for motivation and commitment. ⬇️

Not every kid wants this path. The ones who do were asking for an option that didn’t exist in our public school yet. High hopes they blaze a trail for new learning options in public education. Huge shout to @Curriki for funding this opportunity.

Well here we go. Launching @_MathAcademy_ at Windsor Middle School in CA. Stoked for the 31 7th/8th grade students & families who opted in. Huge thanks to @Curriki for making this possible. Documenting the journey. Launch sequence initiated!

Let's just say 'yes' but the question is the timing. If retail is holding 77% then SP only jumps on institutional buying and it's not like big money is gonna swoop right after Feb. 16th (assuming lifted). So what's the estimated timeline after removal?

Fascinating! @theallinpod science corner interview w/ @friedberg & @chamath please. Maybe @elonmusk debating fusion vs solar w/ focus on energy independence for global peace. @Helion_Energy @Dkirtley
Here's my conversation with David Kirtley (@dkirtley), a nuclear fusion engineer, all about the physics and engineering of nuclear fission, fusion, and the future of energy. David is leading a team that's working to build the world's first commercial fusion power plant by 2028. This was a super technical conversation and a fascinating one, for both the near-term and the long-term future of human civilization. It's here on X in full, and is up on YouTube, Spotify, and everywhere else. Links in comment. NO: The 404(c) Pebble Final Determination remains in force through that date. Resolution sources: EPA website, Federal Register, final federal court decisions, and major news (AP/Reuters/Bloomberg) referencing those primary docs.

This is a highly consequential regulatory event with big implications for Northern Dynasty Minerals (NAK), the mining sector, and U.S. AI sovereignty, since secure domestic access to critical minerals is vital to data centers and advanced AI. Would love to see this on Polymarket

With $TSLA Nov 6 proxy vote imminent, @WeAreCTA ask @CalSTRS for transparency: Share your voting plan, rationale, & how it upholds your fiduciary duty to CA teachers. @elonmusk visionary leadership at #TSLA is vital #TeslaProxy #Tesla

Is it true $NAK goes bankrupt by Q1 '26 at current opex? If so, how does $NAK see this through without diluting us or is that just accepted by everyone? Jan '27 $1 calls seem juicy now but an equity raise would seriously hurt those calls. Thoughts?

This starts with teachers, actually admin bringing in the tools for highly motivated teachers to create an AI first classroom experience for students. Requires base teacher salary to improve & avenue to exit old guard thinking...no tenure (I said it). Students deserve the future.
I believe we'll replace old school buildings with smart, dynamic learning engines powered by AI and XR that are gamified and personal, at a near-zero cost.  Our students deserve better.

$NAK seems like the definition of an asymmetric bet. Approval=moon & deny=bust. Like most here I have hard time believing Pebble isn't being mined & recent sell-off is extremely overblown providing massive upside financial opportunity. Can we discuss each side with reason? 👇

In a world where software can be spung up using Replit for pennies compared licensing cost what stops me from using Replit to recreate my own version of some software I want to use (personal only) & forgoing ongoing sub or license fee? (Cont'd) @downingARK @GrousARK @CathieDWood
Anyone can code with AI. @GrousARK and @downingARK demo how coding agents simplify development, making it accessible to non-technical users, and explore this tech’s impact on the economy, knowledge workers, and software democratization. Watch. ark-invest.com/podcast/the-b…

If nothing then how does all future money not accrue to the replits of the world? There's no business incentive to create apps and software because the potential clients can recreate the product using replit at a fraction the cost. What am I missing here?

Replying to @Jason
@Jason I appreciate the balanced approach you’re suggesting here—cutting spending, boosting revenue through tariffs, and the modest tax increases. But I’m curious about the minimum wage piece. Why do we even need a government-set minimum wage in the first place?
✅ cut spending by DOGE ✅ increase revenue with reciprocal tariffs … and hear me out folks, perhaps we could (BRACES FOR IMPACT): ☑️ modestly increase taxes on the rich ☑️ modestly increase taxes on companies ☑️ modestly increase minimum wage

If capitalism is functioning as it should, shouldn’t wages naturally adjust based on supply, demand, and the value of labor? Historically, before minimum wage laws like the FLSA in 1938, workers and employers negotiated wages directly—sometimes poorly, sure,

but often reflecting the economic reality of the time. I get the intent to protect low-wage workers, but couldn’t a free market, paired with reduced regulation (as others mentioned), allow businesses to thrive and naturally raise wages through competition for labor?
