I've never seen a show this petty, that hates its main characters as much Lanterns hates Hal Jordan and John Stewart.
John is a vindictive dumbass that doesn't understand Hal's sacrifice. They have Hal as a washed up unloved, old beggar when he should be the greatest Green Lantern ever.
Damon Lindelof and Tom King wrote these cats like they got personal beef against them, like they owed them money or something. And they really really hate John. Never seen nothing like it.
