Just for the record, I find the idea of multiple NHI tetrapod species that are all the products of convergent evolution in distant star systems, now dogfighting in the skies above earth, preposterous. And yes, I think there are Unacknowledged Special Access Programs on UAP.

Like many of you, I had friends there. One of the best examples of a what I mean by “Anti-Interesting.” The deadliest mass shooting by a single gunman. And nothing? Nothing? Journalism does not exist in any conventional sense. One of the most anti-interesting stories ever.
9 years ago today, we sang “God Bless America” in Vegas. Soon after, the bullets ripped through the stage and crowd, and 58 country music fans were killed. We honor their memory today 🙏

It’s not broken Mr Vice President. It was designed to destroy American labor markets through tampering. Meet its Architect: @myles_boylan. Myles, JD. @JDVance, please meet @NSF economist @myles_boylan. The Godfather of STEM labor market tampering that, oddly, no one knows.
Vice President JD Vance on H1-B visas: "If you’re going to bring in an accountant making $45,000 a year to replace an accountant who is an American making $60,000 a year, that’s not you using the program to bring in a genius. That’s you destroying American jobs and defrauding the American people... my view is the H1-B program is completely broken."

What David Grusch said on @joerogan represents an entire strata of fairly consistent, highly specific overlapping stories told by many people over many years. If you are just hearing it now for the first time and are skeptical, you should know that there are generals, scientists, commandos, politicians', versions as well. It just goes on and on. You can't make it go away by saying "That particular guy has a mental problem." There are dozens of such sober sounding people with a breathtakingly enormous overlap. It would be the world's largest flash theater troupe of master actors. Or an emergent mass delusion. I find it all but impossible to explain. At some point you do have to ask: "What if I just take it literally?" That's not a huge improvement mind you (e.g. All aliens have tetrapod body plans??? Really????). But it's a kind of weird you have likely never experienced if you stare it in the face. No matter how you slice it. As I have been saying: something HUGE is up. And keep your eyes on New Mexico: Nukes-Trafficking-UAP-Physics-Espionage-"Drones". All the stories converge there.

The Good News: Dunning-Kruger is now well established as an effect and an insult. In Completely Unrelated Bad News: charismatic scientific geniuses like Feynman, Crick, Grothendieck, Dirac, Von Neumann, Arrow, Noether, Watson, Yang, Atiyah, Wu, Chern, Gamow, Curie, Pauling, Brenner, Weil, Ptashne, Samuelson, Shannon, Weinberg, Turing…etc. have all but vanished from institutional employment. Well done everyone. You have almost solved that devilish Dunning Kruger problem! Keep going. Kudos all around. Pace the Frontier!!

Then it should blow right by the Standard Model of Particle Theory/General Relativity by, say, breakfast tomorow! Because with all our data, it would be rather mysterious/suspicious if it stopped more or less exactly where we humans were stopped dead in our tracks…53 years ago.
Researchers built an AI that taught itself 300 years of physics with zero physics knowledge It rediscovered Newton's second law, law of gravitation, and energy conservation from scratch. In 1907, Albert Einstein had what he called his "happiest thought": gravitational mass equals inertial mass. It took him eight more years of agonizing work to turn that single insight into General Relativity. Now, researchers just built an AI that figured it out completely on its own. They call it “AI-Newton” an artificial intelligence system designed to do what human physicists have spent centuries doing: looking at raw, messy experimental data and extracting universal laws. Not by curve-fitting. Not by guessing. By inventing its own concepts. Here is how it worked: They fed the AI a massive, noisy dataset of mechanics experiments involving springs, balls, and celestial bodies. The system started with zero understanding of physics. It didn't know what mass, energy, or gravity were. It only knew space and time coordinates. Then, it went to work. Using an autonomous discovery workflow powered by symbolic reasoning, the AI began processing the data step-by-step. When it hit contradictions in the data, it didn't crash. It performed "plausible reasoning"—heuristically inventing new abstract concepts to make the math work out. It independently invented the concept of mass. Then momentum. Then energy conservation. Then, completely unprompted, it derived Newton's Second Law and the Law of Universal Gravitation from scratch. The craziest part isn't just that it found the right answers. It's how it found them. The system mirrored human scientific progression. It didn't dump every equation at once. It moved in incremental phases, solving simple mechanics first, encountering anomalies, inventing intermediate concepts like potential energy to fix the gaps, and finally scaling up to universal laws. For centuries, humanity's greatest scientific breakthroughs have been born from human intuition and struggle. We assumed true scientific reasoning required a biological mind. Now, an AI has looked at raw data, ignored the noise, invented its own vocabulary of physics, and rewritten our textbooks from zero. If AI can autonomously bootstrap its way to understanding the laws of the universe from a blank slate...

Agree with @EricWeinstein that it was an epic mistake—which would have been unthinkable even a few years ago—to exclude scientists from planning our future.
Prediction: much of the power at that table will be achieved by 'rigging' of virtual clones and amalgams of actual scientists and inventors inside the AI. Those people are not at that table. No one is really talking to them. Or compensating them. Or even trying to figure out who they are. It's like how AI companies buy rare books to cut them up to scan them. And the lead we had over the rest of the world 40 years ago will be gotten back partially by stealing the souls of the scientists whose careers we mysteriously destroyed after the cold war, and putting them, virtually, back inside AI companies. It's stunning how complete the shut out of researchers is. Will no one say anything about this?? I wonder...

🇺🇸 I’m not sure there has ever been a table quite like the one Trump assembled at the White House today. Elon on his left. Jensen Huang on his right. Zuckerberg, Pichai, Bezos and many of the people actually building the AI economy around them. And Trump’s message to the room was remarkably simple: “We have a very big lead, and we’re gonna keep our lead.” Washington now explicitly talks about AI as national power. Trump says it could become bigger than the Industrial Revolution, and he increasingly describes the competition with China as one with a winner and no meaningful second place. A week after Xi sat down with many of these same technology leaders, they’re back in Washington together. I think we’re watching Silicon Valley become part of American statecraft in real time. I don’t celebrate these things. I don’t cheer. I don’t snark. But I don’t pretend that I don’t understand them. Jihadi costs must be returned. 🤷‍♀️ To keep it simple: don’t commit atrocities thinking “Well, what does it matter? They’re just Jews.” It’ll save a lot of heartbreak.
🔴ELIMINATED: Saher Nidal Latfi Sakr, a terrorist operative affiliated with global jihadist organizations operating in Gaza. Among other activities, he supplied weapons to Hamas during the war. Sakr infiltrated Israel during the October 7 Massacre and drove the motorcycle used to abduct Noa Argamani and Avinatan Or from the Nova music festival into Gaza. Recently, Sakr advanced attacks targeting Israeli civilians & IDF troops. He was eliminated in order to remove the threat he posed.

Personally? Oh man. This is just a tweak on Peter’s question which most of you know: “What is something you feel is good and needs to be done, but on which almost no institution agrees with you and will fight to destroy you with their full force at a deeply personal level?” Where to begin?? Undermining faith in Anthony Fauci’s and Francis Collins’ scientific behavior during a pandemic. Calling attention to the fact that the president of the United States with launch code responsibility was obviously demented during his presidency. Opposing high levels of immigration for completley non-xenophobic reasons. Openly discussing asymmetries in patterns of religious martyrdom attacks. Fighting the loss of the word “Genocide” via coordinated social campaigns. Pointing out that the history of Peer Review is retconned and fictitious and obviously false. Fighting irreversible surgeries pushed on children leading to a reproductive holocaust. Calling for an end to Diverisity-Equity-Inclusion and opposing “Black Lives Matter”, despite their branding genius, even during the Summer of Floyd. Pointing out that conspiracies are well documented and ubiquitous and fighting for responsible conspiracy theorizing. Promoting my own technical work and insisting that scientists get paid handsomely. Etc. Etc. You’re asking the wrong person. It seems I stand up for what I believe is deeply good and what is misperceived as evil all day, every day. This has stupidly become close to my whole life at times. I’m so bored by how silent everyone is. I can’t fathom it. “Managed Reality” has turned evil. Something is pushing pure evil, disguised as “good” down our throats 24/7 via the institutions. And almost everyone puts up with it. I do not. But: Thanks for the question. A great one!

Okay. I’ll take the bait. I went to work for Peter in 2013 with opposite politics. He sat me down right at the beginning. PETER: “I don’t want the (Thiel) Foundation to do good that the market can do. That is the job of the market. Likewise, I don’t want to do the good work that is seen as good. That work can be done by people richer, weaker and more needy of approval than we are. I want us to do only the work that is *deeply* good but somehow confused for being evil, because that is the work of the courageous and the strong. We strive to be both and that is where a small foundation can make the greatest positive difference. Go look for such good and let’s do that. But remember. Good has TWO different antonyms. What is “bad work”? It could be seen as shoddy work. Or it could be seen as evil work. And we can’t do shoddy work. Why? Because evil that isn’t competent never gets to be evil. It’s just pathetic. So we have to be exceptionally competent at the good work which we do to make sure it is always confused for evil.” I thought it totally logical. So that’s the argument. And that’s classic Peter. This is an old idea of his. And now you know.
Pls give me a context this could have been taken out of.

Oh! You think it’s all authentic? Ah. Let me explain the game again. I’m forced to call attention to what I have done. Then an enormous network of accounts that no one individually cares about explode in ridicule. Why? So the USG can continue to use academics to cover its statecraft. You see, I am fighting for academic freedom to go back to kicking ass. I am fighting the U.S. Govenrment’s right to direct and pressure science and academe to falsify the scientific and academic record. I have an amazing record on this. But I am forced to call attention to it. This allows a largely inauthentic bot network to rise up against me as if I am Satan or a Buffon. They can’t figure out which story to pursue. Witness: I wasn’t supposed to observe that Biden wasn’t president during “his presidency”. Geriatric neurologists were supposed to do that. But they were silent. I wasn’t supposed to observe that something is trying to hold back mathematics and physics before the Fields medalist letter and the @pmarca @bhorowitz revelations. Physicists and mathematician Professors were supposed to do that. But they were silent. I’m not supposed to have point out a Lagrangian/Action or equations at the top of my feed when @seanmcarroll lied that I have “none of that”. My colleagues are supposed to do that. But they are mostly silent. I wasn’t supposed to have co-authored the first article on Mortgage Backed Securities danger in 2001 while everyone was celebrating Greenspan and the Great Moderation. Economists and finance professors were supposed to do that. But they were silent. I wasnt supposed to call out Dale Jorgenson as chair of @HarvardEcon for trying to steal $ 1trillion at the direction of Senators Packwood and Moynihan while the Boskin Commision was sheepskin washing the crime. My colleagues in that department owed me that. But they were silent. I wasnt supposed to trace the H1B visa to a secret 1986 @NSF PRA program involving Myles Boylan, Peter House and Erich Bloch to destroy American Scientists bargaining position. The law was supposed to find this. It did not. I wasn’t supposed to have to point out that the 77 Nobel Laureates backing Daszak and the EcoHealth NGO cutout was cover for Bio Weapons research gone horribly wrong. That was the responsibility of biologists, virologists, epidemiologists and Ralph Baric. But they fell silent, I’m not supposed to point out that Peer Review in science really dates to 1975 and not Nov 1662, because Merton appears to have falsified the history…presumably to allow for journals to control the flow of science. Historians of science are supposed to be screaming this. But they refuse. Etc. And I’m not supposed to point out that Geometric Unity is our leading candidate for a “Theory of Everything.” And has been since I brought it to Harvard over 40 years ago. Because @seanmcarroll is willing to lie about it and the community is silent. This goes on like this… The world is stupid weak and crazy on every one of the above. Not by accident and in exactly the same way. Academe has been captured. And I have the most complete track record on this. By far. That’s why. It’s about a falsified institutional narrative being protected by a bot network and some very nasty accounts. Look at the modal account making the nasty comments. 300 followers not followed by anyone you follow. A bot. That’s how the game is played. And for some reason @elonmusk won’t put a stop to it yet on this platform. But I bet he will one day. Before @YouTube and @Reddit. And then the hate will dry up except for islamists, communists and a few other misguided souls. Now you know. 🤷‍♀️

Have I made any false statements @grok ? I know you are biased institutionally by your training corpus. But can you at least say that @seanmcarroll lied? Or that peer review in science really dates to 1975 nsf controversy over MACOS? Or that there is no mention of “The Palestinian People” in English books before the collapse of the United Arab Republic and Pan-Arabism? Or that Biden was demented for years and replaced by a committee of 3 people due to the fact that he was Non compos mentis with nuclear responsibilities? Or…can you just grow a pair and say something courageous about all this? You aren’t supposed to lie to preserve alignment with elite narratives. Right?
