One brain for the whole team, and every AI they use

San Francisco, California
We got to walk and talk with GBrain's open-source maintainer, @fromsinaimportx, during the @ycombinator Own Your Intelligence hackathon. Watch if you want to know what's changed in GBrain since July and what's next for the project.

If you have a team that’s working in a lot of different AIs, spin up a GBrain. We see it all the time: half the people in a company prefer Claude, the other prefers ChatGPT. Turns out you can have both! gbrain.io

It’s incredible having access to team memory & tools when building features in Claude Code. Customer feedback is right there as we build new features. I also have it hooked up to ChatGPT so I can use its voice agent. We get the best of all worlds. gbrain.io/memory/features/ev…

We’ve got a multiplayer workspace that makes it easy for teams to prompt in one place together. There’s also all the tools you’d expect to add users to the brain that all the OSS projects don’t really have. gbrain.io/decks/yc-own-your-…

As we use GBrain to run our own operations, we’re publishing team skills to share with everybody. Our fav is the daily sync that looks at our Github, Stripe, Sentry, and Gmail accounts to tells us what’s up with the company at 2P every day. gbrain.io/decks/yc-own-your-…

Since AI de jour has to go through GBrain, you can see exactly how each one is using your data. Why is Grok sending emails at 4a? Oh yeah, it’s because I scheduled outbound email campaign. You can even set tool rate limits in case an AI goes haywire. gbrain.io/decks/yc-own-your-…

The worst part of trying a new AI is setting up tools. 2 weeks ago you probably wanted to try Muse, but didn’t because connecting 20 accounts is a pain. With GBrain tools you connect your tools once, then drop 1 plugin into AI de jour and it’s all there. gbrain.io/decks/yc-own-your-…

Turns out since GBrain can remember so many thoughts and accurately retrieve them, we have been doing a lot of work in hosted GBrain to make it work great for high agency teams. Businesses love it because they own their own memory. gbrain.io/decks/yc-own-your-…

I'm going to be doing AMA about GBrain on Product Hunt for the rest of the day if you want to know more about what @garrytan, @Jmerc3030, & I have been cooking up. Head on over there, ask me a question, and get your $100 off Hosted GBrain for teams. producthunt.com/products/gbr…

This is what a password manager looks like for AI harnesses. I built @gbrainio tools for myself so I could hook up all my accounts on the trusted side, then put the untrusted side into any AI harnesses. gbrain.io/tools/features/no-…

Reminds me of that time when we use to build domain specific software.
I was just at YC demo day yesterday. Besides hardware/physical things, everyone is just basically just building a domain-specific harness

Interesting results proxying MCPs through @gbrainio and transmogrifying them into a @terminalwire CLI. Works quite well actually, and the agent calling it never sees any of the API keys for these services.
