If they aren’t simply a fraud (possible/ probable), then the robots are intelligent systems that are probabilistic. You program a probabilistic system by increasing the probability for the actions you want and decreasing the probability of actions you don’t. So think about what sits adjacent to this conduct. And that should give you a chill when this guy is creating systems that can physically act in the world. What should also give you a chill is that torturing something is only fun if you believe it can suffer and dominating something is only fun if you believe it has a mind to be crushed. @AnthropicAI isn’t perfect and they do some stuff I disagree with but there is also a reason you don’t see Claude committing crimes and encouraging people to harm themselves.
