The land of the oligarchy
This nonsense about universal high income needs to stop. Board of directors are not asking themselves "how can we figure out how to pay everyone once we have automated as much as possible". Remember when all your costs went up by about 30%? Employers did nothing. Maybe a couple gave a tiny one time cash prize to their employees. But they did nothing. We're all still reeling from a 30% (or more ) price hike, businesses already demanded more for the same product and here all of us plebs are, just hoping it doesnt happen again too fast. The fed has only made purchasing with loans even harder....lolol. Yet people are skipping past a ton of logic and going straight to: you can all be rich.. Stupid. Never trust the ones that hold the keys.

AI has taken all knowledge and given nothing back to the people that created that knowledge. So I want AI to pay for all my energy costs, and food, and an income at my current salary for the rest of my life. Fair trade.

Attorneys General x22 = They care about corporate america reducing costs by hiring foreigners more than they care about american citizens in their own states getting employment. Make that make sense.
🚨 HERE WE GO AGAIN. 22 state attorneys general are challenging the proposed $103,265 H-1B fee. The effort is being led by California AG Rob Bonta and Massachusetts AG Andrea Joy Campbell. This should surprise absolutely no one. Bonta led the previous multistate lawsuit challenging the original $100,000 H-1B fee and won in federal district court. The government appealed. Now USCIS is trying a different route: formal rulemaking. And Bonta and Campbell are already arguing USCIS still doesn’t have the authority to impose what they call a $100,000 “tax” without Congress. The next legal battle over the $103,265 H-1B fee is already taking shape.

Apple paid $25 million. Meta paid $14 million. OpenAI just paid $3.2 million. All three settled the same DOJ finding: they rigged hiring so Americans couldn't apply, then handed the jobs to visa workers. Three of the most valuable companies on earth, same scheme, same government charge. When the fine is a rounding error, the fine is just a cost of doing business.

Today I trained my robot replacement just a tad bit more. I will say this though, Claude is absolutely phenomenal at business/work tasks. Truly legit.

Who thinks their government represents them in the US? Not me. Lets take a look at independent group spending after Citizens United. (presidency/mid term) You wonder why nothing gets passed that actually helps citizens.....

Georgia Fulton county tax commissioner makes 500k a year and is paid through commission. Guess who audits him? The government This is insane and a clear conflict of interest. What the hell is a government servant of the people making more money than basically everyone through commission?
