I know it's a meme but I vibe coded an editor where I use Animotion to make videos using code and sync the audio so I don't need other software to make the final video anymore and I can add any feature I want 😄

The latest DeepSeek model for some reason randomly goes berserk and gets stuck in a loop often 😂

I switched from Shiki to Twinkleplop in Animotion • Bundle: 143 KB → 44 KB • Package size: 11 MB → 180 KB • Highlight speed: 11x faster (3.66 ms → 0.33 ms) • Deleted ~100 lines of async loading code
After about a year, on and off, I am veeeery happy to release TWINKLEPLOP, a syntax highlighter of tremendous power! The speed of prism with the customisation of Shiki.

If you love the exploration of user interfaces I highly recommend watching this talk by Scott Jenson: “Are we really going to use the same Desktop UX forever?” piped.video/V7AfAcQwLW0

I made a Svelte package for hand-drawn annotations using the same foundation you can use in your project 😎
I made a Svelte component wrapper around Rough.js for creating graphics with a hand-drawn, sketchy appearance 😄

Yeah I prefer how much cleaner it is but I also like the flexibility of the spread version

Do you prefer option A, option B, or having both A+B options for creating annotations in Svelte?

I made a Svelte code sandbox package a while ago and made improvements since then so if you need one for your next project look no further 😄 • Includes Web and Svelte sandbox • Light, themable, responsive • Handles imports

I think about this a lot because I'm baffled when I try one of these AI video editors for example and it's like they never used a video editor before
AI makes it so easy to polish rough edges and smooth out your product experience. Yet pretty much every piece of software is falling apart. Why? The devs building them don't care. Software built by people detached from the users has never felt worse.
