Do City or City fans really think the world's perception of the club and its morals changes whether the money came from their owner or the UAE government? Semantics. It's still financial doping and cheating.

London - September 14th Two weeks before Ornstein broke the story. A coincidence. Surely.
We know the PM loves his football and Manchester so who was the first business man in Downing Street this morning, khaldoon al mubarak whisked past security like royalty by a Spad. Shortly followed by business sec Jonathan Reynolds, all handshakes inside the big black door.

You have to feel for Etihad Airways, owned by the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund chaired by Sheikh Mansour’s brother, getting caught up in all this. Thoughts also go out to Man City’s other sponsors: First Abu Dhabi Bank, Experience Abu Dhabi, Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, Aldar Properties of Abu Dhabi, Masdar Energy of Abu Dhabi, and e& telecoms of Abu Dhabi. Quite the coincidence. 💀😂

Prime Minister Andy Burnham would be "really concerned" to lose Manchester City owners as a result of club being found guilty of Premier League financial rule breaches, by an independent commission. The club are expected to appeal the decision.

"But what about all the good things Hitler did" This is exactly how sportswashing works and what it is. Distract, divert and distort by spending money to change others perception.
I’m sick and tired of Manchester City on my timeline and on the news. I don’t know much about football but I live in Manchester. I understand Man City may have cheated but their Muslim owners have done many good things within the Manchester area, which benefited Britain. •Built 1,500+ homes & created 3,000+ local jobs •Funded 14 new community pitches across Manchester •Partnered with the NHS to deliver youth mental health support •Transformed toxic wasteland. • Deploys full-time, specialised coaches to the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. •Built three new local schools and runs City Inspires learning programs. •Financially supports university scholarships and coaching apprenticeships. And many more including 50 million invested in Manchester

"Just in case we are not innocent, we will accept what the judge and the PL decides". Does this sound like an innocent man, kept in the dark by his club? He's probably one of the architects. #pepstein

I want every single @ManCity fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters. Let me be clear: we will get through this together. I love you all 🩵

This baffles me. I already question the integrity of the players signing for City since the charges, but signing for them in this period, without a relegation/guilty clause in the contract seems completely insane. Surely every single player and agent can't be that gullible?
Do Manchester City's players have relegation release clauses in their contracts?

What's changed since May, @Carra23 ? Or when you led the crusade against an honest club fighting against cheating and corruption?

The horrible reality is that of the last 10 PL titles, only 3-4 have been won fairly. Chelsea and Man City both have an asterisk. Arsenal, Leicester, Liverpool the only legitimate winners. Damning for the Premier League.

Well done @RobHarris 👏 You've been a real one about this case, unlike many of your colleagues.

I've felt cheated and lied to for 2 decades. I've seen my club, my manager and our community suffer for it. This feels a little bit like the police have discovered DNA from the crime scene 20 years later. But justice will never be served. No punishment will ever fit the crime.
