Product @ Legion CTO @ Delphi Labs

Been exploring early-stage robotics companies recently. We've all heard of Figure and other big names, but watching what's happening at grassroots level is super interesting. Here are 11 companies founded since 2023 with < $100m in funding that caught my eye. Thread: 1/17.

Completely agree with Luke’s points on $ZEC. I think people are targeting the 10% of Bitcoin’s valuation and not coming to the same conclusion that Luke did: that it might very well just flip Bitcoin. It’s digital cash. There is no other. Bitcoin can’t hold that title because it’s an open ledger with every transaction viewable to the public. Might as well provide your bank statements to the cashier at the grocery store when you checkout.
I’ve never been more bullish on anything as I am on $ZEC. It has a cracked and functional dev team. It’s quantum recoverable. It doesn’t have the Saylor overhang. On narrative it's a simple pitch. Everyone missed Bitcoin but actually Bitcoin has some problems and now maybe you get another go. When you zoom all the way out on the chart it has the helpful first candle that makes everything since look small. It implements Satoshi's original digital cash vision which Bitcoin failed to achieve. It's not tied to fundamentals - it's only comp is Bitcoin which is 50x the price. So in a bull market it can absorb all the excess liquidity. And right now people are targeting 10% of Bitcoin's price as a goal. But if it gets there the goal will shift to a full flippening. And at that point it would seem possible. Tbh I think maybe it is possible.

The SPV industry is a murky world. Some good stories here take a look.
SPVs made private markets easier to access. They also made them easier to abuse. If an SPV burned you, keeping it private is part of why it happens again. SPV Confessions is live. Tell your story. Change the system. Fully anonymous: confessions.uselegion.com

Those who build AI today control the future.  The dAGI Summit (part of Open Source AI Week by Linux Foundation) is for founders, researchers and builders driving the open-source and distributed AI that gives power back to people.  We are bringing together senior researchers and leaders from OpenAI, DeepMind, Amazon, Meta and NVIDIA, alongside the founders and maintainers of top open-source AI projects like Letta, Cline and PyTorch. They will be joined by leading research labs in open and distributed AI, such as Prime Intellect, Pluralis and Nous Research. The goal is to focus on making AI universally accessible, provably fair, impartial and beneficial for all.  📅 October 24 • 📍 San Francisco • Open Source AI Week

i expect @almanak to be a breakout project in DeFAI and to stick around for the long run TLDR: Almanak lowers the barrier to becoming a quant. you vibe code your favorite DeFi strategy -> code is deployed onchain (traditional smart contracts: deterministic, auditable, verifiable, no AI hallucinations) -> if the yield is appealing, anyone can join by depositing into your vault -> you earn management + performance fees it's run by top tier team @NeoAlmanak @0xLars_, in development for years with launch around the corner good pod to learn more -> piped.video/watch?v=5yyQCXtv… (disc. i'm an angel investor)

If you read one thing this week, would suggest the below AI report: "From Data Foundries to World Models" It interweaves data foundries, context engineering, RL environments, world models & more into an approachable, yet comprehensive essay on the current edge of AI.👇(0/12)

The biggest problem of natural language inputs is that it's not clear to the user what the constraints of the system are. So inevitably when they type their instructions it doesn't work. User gets frustrated and never comes back. Great solution here from @0xLars_ and @almanak
Time for an @almanak update AI UX is actually really bad. Chat interfaces don't really work most of the time We ran into this issue too at @almanak Sharing an update on how we solved it and what you can expect to see once we roll this out to all users /\ soon™️
