FIVE hospitals in Russia are now quarantined.
🚨☣️BREAKING: Plague outbreak expands, Russia BSL-3 lab accident - FIVE hospitals now quarantined🚨☣️
The plague outbreak in Siberia, Russia has expanded w/5 hospitals now under QUARANTINE: Irkutsk Hospitals No. 1, No.3, No.10, Ivano-Matreninskaya Children's Hospital, and an unnamed maternity hospital (Lyudi Baikala news, Moscow Times).
Quarantine is NOT voluntary. Even in the U.S., quarantine is among the most extraordinary measures gov't can impose on American citizens who haven't been convicted, or even accused, of committing a crime. Quarantine means being forcibly confined and medically examined by law. U.S. quarantine can be imposed on anyone infected by a legally quarantinable disease listed below (this can change). One should assume Russia's quarantine protocols are even more severe. As of 2026, under Executive Order 14047, legally quarantinable diseases in the U.S. are:
■ Plague
■ Smallpox
■ Viral hemorrhagic fevers
■ Cholera
■ Diphtheria
■ Yellow fever
■ Infectious tuberculosis
■ Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS)
■ Flu that can cause a pandemic
■ Measles

A lab worker at Siberia's anti-plague institute died of pneumonic plague after reportedly breaking a tube of live bacteria. Nearly 200 contacts are in isolation and a hospital is quarantined. Officials say all contacts have tested negative so far.

This is probably one of the most important upgrades we’ve had with LONG.
And one of the purest forms of the “liquidity moat” I keep mentioning.
Very simple breakdown:
Stock pairs on LONG hold 10–40% of the entire stock circulating supply and are the main reason some stocks on RH are liquid.
They can accumulate substantial liquidity and market fees in their vaults ($1m+ now).
They can now allocate these fees to LP positions in STOCK/USDG pools with no IL(impairment lose is huge problem I will break down later and explain how stock pair flows can solve)
This enables stock pairs to capture the entire routing layer around their stock, including the activity they drive themselves.
Accrue more LP fees back to the vault.
And own an even bigger share of the liquidity and upside from growth in RWA TVL and activity.
I’d take this a step further. I strongly believe that, with multiple iterations, this can be an endgame for tokenized stock LP.
I’d even argue that this is an ideal way for capital allocators to incentivize stock pairs, add liquidity to STOCK/USDG pools, and align with the biggest stock pairs by routing a portion of LP fees back to them.

MIDDLE EAST: Saudi Arabia is reportedly planning a major offensive to take Bab el-Mandeb back from the Houthis. Up to 100k Yemeni troops, Saudi air support, could start in the coming days. With Hormuz already choked, the Red Sea was the backup route. Now that's a war zone too.
