Once again, take a good long look. Every far left & Socialist group in Florida dislikes Amendment 3. Cause that's where all their gravy comes from. Enough already! Florida Taxpayers - regardless of Party - deserve a break! VOTE YES on Amendment 3!
Vote NO on 3! Teachers, librarians, retirees, veterans, faith leaders, public health advocates, conservationists, across Florida agree: Amdt 3 is a scam that will raise costs, cut services, & allow the state to take more control of local communities. sosfl.org

Uh? A lot of major Republican groups are against this. It’s not a socialist thing. All of public safety is against this. Voting no.

Public safety unions & associations are not necessarily Republican & they've got their own bureaucratic fiefdoms. Many of their members don't agree.

The issue is spending. Vote no. Elect local politicos that will decrease unnecessary local spending. This proposes taking a sledgehammer to an issue that can be addressed with a scalpel. Some rural counties would be beholden to Tally to make up for budget shortfalls.

That's the problem, spending. We elect "fiscal conservatives" & they cave. Nothing ever changes unrltil they' required by law. Rural counties are already beholding to Tallahassee. They get revenue share money. Revenues coming in from the larger counties are divvied up & rural areas get spending money. The big counties do not get back what their residents paid in. Nothing changes there.

Yes, all true...but the bastards are already figuring out how to offset. Clay County has already passed a new "Special Assessment" for Strom water...more to come.

Yeah, but that stupid move has got the entire county up in arms. Clay Co has a recall process. Go after them!

What sucks is that popular things like libraries and infrastructure will get shut down to punish us for voting for Amendment 3, and fat cat local politicians will still find ways to kick money to themselves and their buddies.

Pull the budgets. You can even use AI to review it & identify wasteful spending to cut. Then demand they do the right thing or recall/primary them Get them out. Create a consequence.

Uh, no, they just realize its another move push the tax burden onto the Working Class. Amendment 3 will cause budget shortfalls, forcing them to seek to raise the regressive Sales Tax.

There's a massive amount of waste, fraud & abuse to be cut first.

Rep. Donald’s wife owns an AI-based school software that she’s trying to inject into public schools and milk taxpayers for $10M/year. Republicans have been in power for 25+ years ABs haven’t fixed a damn thing. This is a scam just like all the others, it’s a power shift. NO ON 3

"This amendment would reduce local government revenue across the state by $4.6 billion in fiscal year 2027-28 and $8.4 billion in fiscal year 2028-29." ABSOLUTELY NOT.

😅 Amendment 3 would reduce property tax revenues to 2020 levels. You remember 2020? Did you not have police, fire & EMT services then? Don't fall for the scare tactics! Vote Yes on Amendment 3.

Why are taxpayers paying for a teacher's pension? Shouldn't they invest their own money?

Most employers offer a pension plan.

There are always people of all parties on both sides of any issue, but the actual Republican Party has endorsed Amendment 3.

When admend 3 passes and the municipalities go through their budgets cutting waste, fraud and abuse and find they still come up short providing nessassary services all they need to do is ask for an increase in taxes to make up the shortfall, bottom line is if we end up being taxed were we started then where is the harm, time for all services to be accountable to taxpayers, something the property tax scam shielded them from

There's a lot of hype by these municipalities to intimidate voters, but Amendment 3 will drop revenues to 2020 levels. Truly, life wasn't that difficult & we did not go without essential services. Vote Yes!

From a posts i saw earlier... forgot who posted it. Tampa’s budget in 2019 was $1.01 Billion. Tampa’s budget in 2025 was 1.8 Billion. This is an increase in spending 2019-2025 of 78% Cumulative inflation 2019-2025 was only 26% Mayor Jane Castor literally increased Tampa’s spending at Three Times the rate of inflation! Nearly $600 million more in one year than was needed to provide 2019 levels of public services, adjusted for inflation. Maybe @WFLA would better serve the community by asking Mayor Castor what she spent that $600 million on and why it shouldn’t be the first thing cut instead of just being her mouthpiece?
