Using xHigh for the whole day and yes it feels cheaper than medium. But no numbers to back it up
🚨 Reddit users say Astra xHigh lasts much longer than Medium One Pro 20x user ran xHigh for an hour and used only 2% of their weekly usage, while Medium drained it much faster, and others said they saw the same thing. After checking the logs, they found Medium made 122 responses vs 65 on xHigh and burned usage about twice as fast. teddit.net/r/codex/comments/…

Wide QRS Tachycardia? It's Not Always VT This ECG panel compares V₁ and V₆ leads in both LBBB-type and RBBB-type QRS morphologies across common causes: 1️⃣ Ventricular tachycardia (VT) 2️⃣ SVT with aberrancy 3️⃣ SVT with preexcitation (WPW) 4️⃣ SVT with baseline abnormal ECG 5️⃣ SVT with hyperkalemia 6️⃣ Ventricular pacing Observe how the QRS morphology changes with each condition. Certain clues like AV dissociation, fusion beats, or extreme axis favor VT, while others may suggest supraventricular origin. This chart is a great reference for ECG interpretation, especially in acute settings. 🎬 2nd chapter ...🧵This a thread about 1.3% sodium bicarbonate🧂 (aka isotonic bicarb drip) in critical care. ☝🏻 If you missed the first part about 8.4% bicarb, I would strongly recommend you to read it before moving on 🏃🏻.
...🧵This is a thread about 8.4% sodium bicarbonate (aka bicarb amp) in critical care. This the first part in a series of three about sodium bicarbonate 🧂in critical care: 🧐I will get in deep to complexities, benefits, risks and clinical implications of this (overused) drug.

1/ Time for another #POCUS pitfalls thread 🧵: the infamous IVC 🤩 I have MANY thoughts on the IVC 💭 When I first started teaching POCUS, I actually disliked the IVC because it was often poorly done or incorrectly interpreted ❌ I have now come to love the IVC, BUT you have to do it right! #tweetorial

Particularly useful for HEMS in a confined aircraft. But then again airway management is best done on the ground.

After being trained by🇲🇾tax Ringgit @ RM1 Million per med student, they exit KKM, due to: ✅Push factor by @KKMPutrajaya dr-unfriendly policies ✅Pull factor by 🇸🇬 🇦🇺 🇬🇧 🇮🇪 ✅Combination of lousy remuneration, crazy workload, mental unwell being & ambiguous career progression
Sad to see many doctors tweeting about exiting KKM (but good that they're happier now). The pandemic left a lingering impact on our healthcare workforce. More contract docs quit in 2022 than previous 2 years COMBINED. It's not a case of ED always sesak; it's far, far worse now.
