Peak XV Partners (formerly Sequoia Capital India & SEA) is a global VC firm with 20+ years of experience partnering with founders to build enduring companies.

Three years ago today, we rebranded as Peak XV (Peak Fifteen), the original name of Mount Everest. The name speaks directly to our ambition: to aim for the highest peak there is, and to partner deeply with world-class founders making the climb. Over the last few years, we have continued to evolve, expanding our presence across regions, deepening our work in AI and deeptech, and partnering with founders building for global maxima. Today, we are unveiling a refreshed brand identity and website that reflect this evolution while staying rooted in the values and beliefs that define us. Our new logo and visual system are inspired by Everest and the climb itself: the rugged terrain, the essential tools, and the shared discipline, resilience, and belief required to reach the summit. Explore our new look at peakxv.com and watch our latest brand film below. We're as optimistic about the future as we've ever been. Never settle in the foothills. @sjs_day1 @RajanAnandan @i_sakshichopra @abhishek_mohan @mobhat @gvravishankar @rohitagar_wal

Did we mention $100M ARR? 👀 A Tuesday afternoon in Times Square and, behind the scenes, a lot more people shouting “can you move slightly to the left?” than you'd probably expect. The finished shot was very polished. Getting it? A little less so. Here's a slightly more accurate look at the day.

What will it take for Southeast Asia’s next generation of tech companies to really break out? Our MD Rohit Agarwal (@rohitagar_wal) joined @DealStreetAsia's #AsiaPEVCSummit2026 today for a conversation on capital, AI and where the region goes from here. A couple of themes they covered: • The biggest outcomes will come from backing innovation early, especially as new technology cycles create entirely new markets. • AI is opening up new categories across science, space, entertainment and more. Whether it’s creating code or content, the barriers to building have never been lower and the speed has never been faster. We’re excited about this new paradigm spanning agents, robotics and intelligent machines, and the founders building global companies. Lots to be excited about as the next generation of global maxima companies takes shape across the broader APAC region 🙌

Capital is an enabler, but not a substitute for product-market fit. This was one of the central themes from Sakshi Chopra’s conversation with Anupam Mittal at GFF today, spanning founder ambition, customer validation, the role of capital and how AI is changing the way companies build. A few takeaways: • Find the customer truth first, then use capital to accelerate it. Raising too early, or confusing funding with success, can distort judgment just as easily as it can enable growth. • The first thing capital should expand is founder ambition. External conviction can be a powerful unlock, but the best founders use it to dream bigger, improve the product and bring in stronger people, rather than treating the round itself as the milestone. • Customer demand remains the clearest validation. Customers have a way of challenging even the strongest founder thesis. Building around real demand creates a stronger foundation than building around capital alone. • AI adoption works best when tied to outcomes, not usage. Set ambitious business and product goals and let teams use AI to achieve them faster, rather than mandating tools or usage quotas. @i_sakshichopra @AnupamMittal @GffFintechfest

What will the next generation of Indian fintech companies look like? More specialized. More personalized. And, increasingly, more global. Fascinating conversation between @Razorpay's @harshilmathur and Peak XV’s @mobhat at @GffFintechfest today on building fintech companies from India for global scale. Things that stood out: • The next fintech wave goes beyond access. India’s first fintech era brought millions of consumers and businesses online. A deeper market now creates room to solve much more specific customer problems and still build at significant scale. • AI makes that depth possible. As the cost of personalization falls, founders can build products across languages, customer segments and use cases in ways that were previously too expensive or complex. • India’s fintech experience is increasingly exportable. With 49% of the world’s real-time payments happening here, Indian companies have had to solve for extraordinary scale and complexity. Those capabilities can become increasingly relevant in markets following a similar real-time payments journey. There is still a huge amount to build in India. And an increasingly compelling opportunity to build from India for the world. 🙌

From all of us at @peakxvpartners and @_surgeahead, massive congratulations to @Tazapay team! We have been fortunate to partner before the company was incorporated. We have no doubt Tazapay and this founding team led by Rahul will continue to flourish with @Circle. 🚀
We first partnered with Rahul Shinghal and the @tazapay team in 2020 before the company was incorporated. Tazapay joined @_surgeahead with an ambitious mission to make cross-border payments simple. Along the way, we have had the privilege of doubling down on that partnership by leading the company’s Series A in 2023 and co-leading the Series B in 2025. Over the next six years, Tazapay built virtual accounts, payouts, stablecoins infra and cross border payments gateway - all in one unified stack - on top of a strong foundation of licenses and registrations across Singapore, the United States, Canada, Australia and Hong Kong. Tazapay infrastructure now covers money movement rails in more than 100 markets. They are far along their original mission, and have expanded their goals that they will now work on together with Circle Group, Inc (NYSE: CRCL). Huge congratulations to the Tazapay team as they begin this new chapter with Circle. We’re grateful to have been alongside you on this journey! @aakash_kpr

Circle has signed an agreement to acquire @tazapay, a cross-border payments company supporting businesses across 100+ markets. Our recent edition of Beyond was in San Francisco and brought together leaders from companies like Google Cloud, Nutanix, AstraZeneca, eBay, Genentech, Tech Mahindra, and Microsoft. In a roundtable discussion between founders and CXOs, the group tackled the realities of enterprise AI, covering everything from board-level spend to sales cycle friction. Huge thanks to everyone for bringing such rich perspectives to the table. That’s what Beyond by Peak XV is about: bringing founders and CXOs together to spark the connections that matter.

We just launched Shipsy Brain, and I want to tell you why it exists. Most logistics systems were built to record what happened. But the actual decisions still happen outside the system, in spreadsheets, emails, phone calls, and people’s heads. That’s what we’re changing with Shipsy Brain, our fine-tuned model purpose-built for logistics. It builds on insights from more than 5 billion shipments, 50 billion operational events, and 1 billion decisions processed through the Shipsy platform. It powers agents that can: 1)Resolve suspicious orders by contacting customers and guiding drivers 2)Validate proof-of-delivery documents and freight invoices 3)Detect operational risks and potential surcharge fraud 4)Take routine follow-up actions while escalating high-impact decisions to humans In one quick-commerce use case, an issue that previously left drivers waiting for 45 minutes could be resolved in about 4 minutes. This helped recover nearly 30% of revenue that might otherwise have been lost. The goal isn’t to remove humans from logistics. It’s to let machines handle the repetitive investigation, cross-checking, and coordination that humans cannot perform at scale. The final financial and customer-impacting decisions remain with people. For us, this is the shift from a system of record to a system of action, and an important step towards truly AI-native logistics operations. I talked about this in more depth with The Economic Times.
