Seeing HRT step up at the Visionary tier means a lot to me. It's exactly the kind of commitment Python deserves from the companies that build on it, and I'm genuinely proud to be at a place that takes that seriously. ❤️

⏰ New PEP alarm! ⏰
Limitations in software engineering are meant to be broken. For years I was bothered with the gap between Python and TypeScript: one has incredibly dynamic and powerful runtime, the other has incredibly dynamic and powerful type system.
So why not both? 🔥

Announcing the Beta release of ty: an extremely fast type checker and language server for Python, written in Rust.
We now use ty exclusively in our own projects and are ready to recommend it to motivated users.
10x, 50x, even 100x faster than existing type checkers and LSPs.
