Left: From-scratch debug build, launching target, and stepping with RADDBG. Right: Launching target & stepping with Visual Studio 2022.

"did you see the opus 5.5 animation video of blackwell gpus from server down to atom?" "yeah so cool!!!" "do you know how accurate it actually is?" "no, you?" "no"
Someone used Claude Opus 5.5 to make a 3D animation of Nvidia Blackwell GPUs (from server down to an atom). Took 1 hour and full animation “runs from single HTML file, directly in browser. No vid editor. No pre-rendered 3D sequence. Just browser-based experience.” Very cool.

To be fair, "actually teaching people" seems like the job they should have been doing in the first place. As I've said many times, I think technology will drive the "mass education university" to extinction, and we will have to return to small groups led directly by masters.

Hey Claude - copy this one of a kind open source project. I'll go post how I made it in an hour on twitter to get likes! Copy it in a different language so it's a bit less blatant. Make no mistakes

Crazy how this happened after, and not a second before, a Linux graphical debugger codebase was MIT’d And no, he didn’t “make” anything

Almost certain that it has a detrimental effect on local-first binary distribution too. High trust culture is a prerequisite for high quality technology.

The best music, shows, games, and art I’ve experienced in my life has never been something I could predict, invent, or articulate myself.
I am not joking when I say this. Spotify, Apple Music, and streaming in general is over. AI music is now very, very good. You just don't know yet because all AI music circulating today is from ~2-3 generations ago. Suno v6 pro et al has solved infinite personalized music.

"Personalized" art is just pornography, a product aimed at satisfying a base need. Actual art is the opposite of personalized: its beauty lies precisely in that it is the product of another mind, which is why it can be surprising, even revelatory.

Disasters avoided this week by reviewing Opus 5.5's work: - allowing anyone to elevate to admin privileges - every message sent to every mobile device in the fleet - crashing the OTel collector from stupidity - reusing a UI for a nearly identical purpose doubles the app code
It takes a while to build the confidence, but there's no future where you're manually reviewing every line of agent code. Not much acceleration in that. You need adversarial agent reviews, you need automated testing, and maybe you spot check. That's it. From prompt to production!
